• Music: FLUTTER / Celestia's Theme (Orchestral) / Luna's Lament

Outside of Pinkie Trigger, I usually don't "get" these types of songs, but this one was pretty cool!

Also an extension on Celestia's theme, and more Luna stuff, because you can throw Luna on anything and call it pony!

1.) FLUTTER
2.) Celestia's Theme - Orchestral
3.) Luna's Lament

1. I liked all three, but Luna's Lament was my favorite. Nicely done.

6. Man, reading the journal entries on Luna's Lament makes me feel even more sorry for her then I already did. If Celestia really did never tell her when it would end, that must have been an extremely painful thousand years.

7. @Falgaia

Go read A Millennium of Solitude.

Really loved the second one. You don't hear enough of that kind of brassy fanfare nowadays, the kind that really has to be played on herald trumpets for it to be appreciated properly.

8. personally, I prefer Deference to darkness from the ODST soundtrack. Favorite orchestral song OF ALL TIME (the first 2:40 seconds of it)

10. The dissonance is wonderful in the third one :)

11. I loved the second one, while I do love piano works, and its prolly me being tired at 2am . . . i couldn't down the third one or the first. Both sounded good, but not my taste. THe first one was too convoluted and noisy. And the Luna's Lament I know of was this one http://snd.sc/mS6CkZ So i was surprised to find a beautiful piano piece instead.

12. The text in Luna's lament knocked my socks off. I hadn't put much thought into her imprisonment. The wait for season 2 is starting to get to me.

#2 was pretty good.

#1 is a bit too noisy, I think it overshot the chance to be catchy by having a pace only rainbow dash could match.

14. #2 Sounds like an intro for "Cesar III"

15. Loved #2. I think the Roman feel works very well for Celestia. Ave Imperatrix!

16. I liked them all. The first one was fun and upbeat. It was indeed fast, but I like the fast stuff myself. I thought the second one suited Celestia alright. And the third was rather nice. Kinda sad. But I'm sure that was intentional of course. Has a nice classical feel to it.

17. Love the melody in #1, but I think the vocal samples are a little overdone. It would rock ass in Bemani, though.

>mfw I realize it's based on a Beatmania song

It's because of something going on to Youtube. If you can't see videos, you have to change "http" to "https" in the URL.

I guess they would have to do this for embeds, too.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

21. 1. Fantastic. Although, I saw this a few days ago because I'm subbed to this YTPMVer.
2. Nice.
3. Same as 2 I guess, but...it's just not pony. You've created your own piece of music and labeled it as pony.

but is still amazing.

24. I like #2 because it capitalizes on just a tiny bit of music from the actual show. This is what a song for Trixie should do (that is: use that little firework tune that plays).
#3 sounded like the music that plays when you beat Classic mode on Super Smash Brothers (N64).

25. Wow! 3 for 3, that's pretty rare for a music post.

26. I think what made pinkie trigger so good is that the creator sampled a lot of different sounds, sounds that were actually recognizable, being close enough to their original key and length.
