Has it really already been 15 years? I feel so old. I can't believe we've been here this long.
I still remember the beginning. Some random friend of mine on steam sent it over saying I'd probably like it. Initially I rejected it. Fluttershy was cute but... surely I couldn't get into ponies. After a week though, I knew I was doomed. It was flooding everywhere on 4chan already and I was loving the screencaps and gifs people were posting. Before I knew it, I was back watching and you all probably know how that went!
While things have slowed down here as I'm pulled away by needing to farm money for that good ol' survival thing, I still hope to keep this place at least functioning at this level long into the future. Who knows, maybe G6 will be incredible!
Anyway, celebrate 15 years of Friendship is Magic! This show has pretty much changed the face of animation in general, sparking hundreds of incredible creatives who all started by just drawing and loving cartoon ponies. Everyone wanted the same level of success as this lightning in a bottle, and we are still living that cartoon dream years later.
