ThatMusicBrony is undoubtedly one of my favourite producers in the fandom, and here he's absolutely shown why with a glitch hop piece combining beautiful vocals, soaring chords and some classic heavy glitch hop sound design. The vocals complement the rest of the track really well, and the switch up to a more melodic second drop helps to keep the track interesting the whole way through. Definitely worth checking out!
The official My Little Pony Collectible Card Game has several formats, and the most random is definitely Chaos is Magic. In this format, there is a changing monthly Chaos Rule that you should use as inspiration to design a deck that will do well with that rule. A personal favorite past Chaos Rule was Hearts & Hooves, which let you start the game with two Mane Characters in play. Because, you know, friendshipping.
Anyway, without further ado, here are the Chaos Rules for the fourth quarter of 2016!
October: It's Nightmare Night, Darling! - Cards with the Accessory trait cost exactly 1 action token and have no color requirements. Nothing can reduce or increase the cost or color requirements of cards with the Accessory trait except this rule.
November: Case in Point - Players have the following new action: "Main Phase: spend 1 point to gain 1 Action Token."
December: One Pony's Trash... - Players can play cards in opponent discard piles as if they were in their hand and had no color requirements; when a card played this way would go to the discard pile, banish it instead.
Elias Frost returns to EQD with an original track that's a little different to a lot of his stuff. An orchestral piece, this builds solemnly throughout the first half with a foreboding ambient atmosphere. My favourite part is the second half where what sounds like a violin plays a beautiful haunting melody that absolutely encapsulates Nightmare Moon. Absolutely worth a listen if you support the princess of the night.

I personally cannot believe that MLP is lasting this long, and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Yes, you're reading correctly, today is officially the 6th year anniversary of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! Wooo! Here, have a Pinkie with some chocolate cake because chocolate is objectively the best flavor and Pinkie is objectively the best character. And this post is by me! It's like a turducken of awesome.
We don't have anything planned specifically for these kinds of anniversaries (sorry!) but you can check after the break for the reliving of another anniversary: a year since the CMCs got their cutie marks! What are you all doing in celebration of the anniversary? Huge marathon of the episodes? Creating some special content in celebration? Let us know in the comments!
I wonder when horseshoes are needed in a place like Equestria? They certainly live different than real horses, that's for sure.
Evening guys, ready to chat? Also, happy anniversary MLP!
New EqD Commenting Rules
How prominent do you think pony horseshoes would be if they were real? What is your hoof headcanon? Do they not wear them at all usually? Or is there some magical pocket of air that they use to keep their hooves clean?

It's starting to look like Gamestop is the go-to place for new Brony focused releases. Apparently these guys have started popping up at stores around the USA. If you have no idea what these are, check out the post highlighting the full set over here.
Thanks to NerdyPinkie for the heads up!
A very small blurb buried in an interview about Emily Blunt's upcoming movies and roles noted a bit about the My Little Pony movie. While it's a small plug, it's a pretty big reveal regardless. I don't know if everyone who wants to avoid movie spoilers has shifted their tag on yet, so get it down below!
And if you don't want to see movie posts, hit the nav bar gear at the top to block any and all spoilers about it.
Flak managed quite a reasonable amount of success with his track Walls, a vocoder-filled electro-style track, and I quite enjoyed it too. Here though, new artist NewPatrol has turned the original piece on its head with an awesome remix that has one of the best future house synths I've heard in a while from the fandom, and some super sweet sax sounds too. This is absolutely a really cool reinterpretation of the original, and definitely worth checking out!
If you can't take the grind of unlocking the Crystal Empire in the My Little Pony game, have the next best thing! We have a complete gallery of what it looks like, including the architecture of a lot of the buildings and some of the new ponies. The game may be a massive money and time sink, but the artists still do a great job of making the structures look lively.
Head on down below for all of it!
SourceYou know, I've done some things I regret during my time writing for Equestria Daily. I mean, not a lot of things, mind you. Mostly little stuff here and there, in like a petty-office-politics, probably-shouldn't-have-cut-all-the-eyes-out-of-the-Rarity-pictures-on-Cereal's-desk kind of way. Y'know, nothing major. But lately, as you may have noticed, things have started getting a little out of control. On top of having a boss to bribe and a blog staff to constantly pretend I have the proper credentials to do this job in front of, now I've got a stuffy, pencil-pushing technically just made up for my own amusementblog mascot on my case every time I come in for a followup.Well, not this time, Spotlight. You may have mildly inconvenienced me in the land of tiny magic horses, but we're in my house now, Miss Splash--and in this neck of the woods, I'm the one with my hands on the wheel. (Literally. Hands.)My name is Aquaman, this is the Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree movie followup, and just to confirm this for my dear little pony friend's sake: you ain't in Kantersas anymore, Spots. Let's get paddlin'.
Here's an artist I've been wanting to do a spotlight on for almost a year now. JaDeDJynX is another one of those creators you have probably run into a bunch over the years. She has absolute mastery over show style, with a more boxxy snouted slightly realistic version in some of her absolute best art. Even a hybrid like the gorgeous Flutterbat above isn't uncommon. Her grasp on light and color to really make a piece POP out at you is something few artists come close to. Just look at the way that moonlight reflects off the eyes, fur, and tree up there. It's incredible.
You might also recognize her for the beautiful Steleris comic series she has been working on since 2013. It seems to be on break at the moment with how busy she is, but it's worth checking out anyway if only for the excellent show-style art throughout.
Now days you might find her at a convention selling prints, or in BronyCon's case working on the design team between posting awesome stuff over on her Deviant Art page. I'll quit blabbering though and let you dive in. Go get an interview with her, and some of her standout pieces below!

Nicolas Dominique returns with an energy-filled trance tune, apparently inspired by not one but all of the finales of every MLP season. One of the first releases from his upcoming album 'Storm', it's got some lovely trance arps, and some classic percussion, basically what you'd expect from a strongly composed piece of positive trance. Check it out below the break!

Replacer always manages to create some of the most unique music in the fandom, and this is no different with his latest track. His soft, almost feminine vocals, the ear-wormy whistling, and the raw, intimate and honest-feeling design of the piece combine to really make something quite different to what one normally hears. I don't think there's much more I can say about this piece - it's really something you just need to experience, so check it out below!
