I hear Trixie falls asleep to hardcore deathmetal blasting from 30 inch speakers built into the base of her wagon. I wonder why?

While the other day marked the start of a new lineup of molded mane plushies from Hasbro, they aren't stopping there for 2017. A side line of budget $5 ponies has been uploaded to their website. Each one is pretty similar to the Funrise line with a slightly different model, and have about 5 inches worth of height.
We don't have any reports of these in stores yet, but if they are listed on their official website, it's only a matter of time.

We've talked about being sent to Equestria before, but what if you're sent there unexpectedly and without any power on your form when you get there? Would you still be elated or would you be a bit worried?
Anyhow, comic updates guys, get them after the break.
We took a break for Christmas, but expect these Pony Soapboxes to get back on track as we move into the new year!

We've had Play-Doh ponies for a few years now with quite a few sets hitting store shelves covering everything from full characters to just the manes and tails. Hasbro is trying out a new app to bring these guys into the virtual world, with "Play-Doh Touch". You can take a picture of your clay creation and watch it wander around in a basic sandbox builder as seen above.
Oddly enough, it works with more than just Play-Doh. The image above is actually a plushie Applejack figure someone scanned in. Apparently all it needs is limbs, and the app will attempt to animate it, sometimes to more horrifying consequences.
Download it on Google Play over here.
Thanks to Frankkie for sending it!
It looks like easy access to the "New" style brushable ponies is now starting to happen. The three we posted on Entertainment Earth yesterday, a Rarity playset, and a bunch of singles are now popping up at Target. These in particular were spotted in Colorado.
If Target has em, chances are other retailers will as well. Keep an eye on store shelves if you are around! The UK/EU tends to either lead or follow when it comes to primary Hasbro releases, so chances are they are there, or heading there.
(Prices: $6 for regular singles, $8 for the ones with Gala dresses)
Many thanks to Patrick for the images!
The Equestria Girls side of the Celestia and Luna tale now comes in a diary format. While not as long as the other chapter books in the pony series, it does command a respectable 144 pages. The exact description:
Head back to Canterlot High School with Luna and Celestia in this replica of the teenage sisters' journal! Read their firsthand accounts and discover Canterlot High from the young girls' points of view. Walk the hallways, attend some classes, and take part in the Mane Event!
Go get it now over on Amazon.
Thanks to Brian for the heads up.
here if you don't want to go via the video, but otherwise check them both out below!
Duo Cartooinist is hard at work at their upcoming "Choices" animation, and like the last few, have released another teaser in the form of a song. "Run Away" is just the instrumental version right now, but once the vocals are done, a teenage Celestia will be providing the front.
For now, check out the backtrack over here!
