A track with a deep concept and following up with epic and emotional choirs, Requiem of Shadows is about that certain story arc from the official MLP comics that some of you might be familiar with. N4ghtwolf definitely signs a masterpiece here, with the outstanding choirs doing wonders to bring both musical identity and fitting atmosphere to the piece. The epic drums and emotional violins are quite amazing and fitting too, and making this song such a rich and complete experience!

A well known comic writer was apparently scooped up to write the mid-season finale this time around. Gail Simone is best known for her works on DC's Birds of Prey along with a host of major comic brands. Apparently My Little Pony's Nicole Dubuc found out she was watching pony during a tour of Hasbro Studios, and after the confirmation that season 9 would be happening, invited her on to write for it.

Princess Cadance's story was explored via the book released ages ago titled "The Crystal Heart Spell", and this musical animatic is based on that. If you haven't read the book, it does a good job of explaining everything so you aren't completely lost.

New pony surprise by UndreamedPanic! The talented musician is presenting us his own musical take on the Student Six this time, with a cuddly atmosphere depicting so well the tender Friendship they share, and all its magic. The song also features lovely vocal chops, making it even more emotional! A beautiful gem for sure!

The Equestria Girls may be joining their pony counterparts as G4 winds down according to director Katrina Hadley over on Twitter. Her recent tweet reveals that she has wrapped up work on the project, and DHX will no longer be producing any more EG content. Of course, there is still loads of un-aired content that will still be releasing over the next year or so, but new creations are unknown.
There is always a chance Hasbro will continue forward with it with their more internalized Boulder Media, similar to what we see with some of the pony shorts and specials.
We will keep you all updated with what we find out as time continues forward! SDCC is going to be very interesting this year.

A new "field theme" BGM meant to accompany PsychicKid's fanfic Magisight: Thaumaturgical Ocularity following previous track Amethyst Hollow, and feeling like it's straight out the OST of some J-RPG, Peacegrove Village reflects the beauty of its name with a gorgeous and peaceful composition. The choice of instruments is just perfect for a forest village, and the "medieval fantasy" vibes are strong too, making for a wonderful BGM to listen to while reading that part of the story, or just as an avid Soundtrack fan like me! Check out the description for some amazing story intro, and go give hugs to Heartsong for making such a sumptuous OST track!

A new pair of figures is apparently on the way on the merchandise front. A baby Pinkie and Twilight have been listed on a Russian website called Detmir.
They don't have a release date or anything, but chances are they will be everywhere eventually. Keep an eye out and let us know if you find them.

I'm going to get this out of the way right now. We have a new writer on the MLP Comics. And his name is Ian Flynn.
Ian Flynn is best known for his work on the Sonic the Hedgehog comics. I have been following his work since I was a sophomore in college. To say I am excited to see him on this book would be a massive understatement!
