The Everfree Forest was never fully explained throughout the seasons of pony. It held a lot of secrets and we know it has its own weather rather than pegasus controlled, but otherwise it's still a mystery!
What do you think is the origins of the forest? Was it a bad Starswirl experiment gone wild? A lost fragment of another dimension? Why is the castle of the two sisters there?
