IDW relaunches their comic purchasing apps (still working on that in-depth review). So of course it was only a matter of time before they relaunched their digital store.
Was a relaunch it is! It's actually quite ingenious in its simplicity. Rather than break the IDW store on IDW Publishing into two groups, a digital comic store front and a physical copy order store front, they two stores have been linked. You can order any physical copy of the comic or the digital version of the comic by clicking on a little drop down menu and making a selection for which version you want.
No multiple pages for the same product in digital and physical formats like other online retailers. One page for both versions (for as long as the physical version remains in stock that is).
Now I'm sure everyone is wondering the exact same thing I was wondering when I heard about this news. Well, IDW has already beaten us to it.
Can I sync my website purchases to the IDW app?
Sorry folks, not possible right now. But hopefully that will be rectified in short order!
Our online comics are not synced to purchases in our apps, Madefire, comiXology or any other distributors at this point. Purchases between our apps and the online digital comics will all sync up before long, we’re working on that now!
But until then, what does this mean for EQD? Well, every single comic post will now include a direct link to IDW's issue page as yet another option to choose from when purhcasing your IDW MLP Comics.
So, thoughts about this latest step into the digital frontier from the guys at Idea and Design Works?

You know, a nap out in a field during a lovely summer afternoon sounds like a great way to spend time with a great friend. Nothing but peace and each other for company as you doze off.
Hey guys! Calpain is back from vacation and so Seth is taking a personal day for himself now that I'm back. Hope you enjoy what I managed to dig up and sort through today!
Get all your art after the break.

We've seen plushies made of all sorts of materials but this is the first time I think I've seen real feathers on a plushie! Very nice work!

Pony has had story arcs of some sort since the first season, starting with the Grand Galloping Gala. Over time they have gotten more elaborate and filled with adventure, culminating with this season focusing on cutie mark problems.
Some arcs have been more popular than others so that got me thinking about what sort of season wide story arc would you write? Would it be a slice of life arc like in the first season? An adventure arc where each episode had something to do with the arc? Or would you do something completely different and off the wall?
Whatever the case, share your ideas down in the comments!

This image seems oddly appropriate for the mysterious stuff that pops up regarding pony (or at least appropriate for our comment section at times). It seems that as part of the MLP Friendship Day event Hasbro is pushing it was possible to receive a free season 5 poster.
The poster currently has some characters revealed with several blurred out which is interesting enough, but rips of the site code have revealed some interesting looking things about the CMC and their possible cutie marks (at least for Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle).
Check on after the break for the poster and some pics of what the CMC marks might be. They sure do look awfully familiar...
Thanks to Shimmer for sending it in!

I really hope that Pinkie knows what she is doing with this Time Travel business. Most things aren't as simple as you think.

Carlton Heirloom My Little Pony Ornaments For 2015 Revealed - Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle
by Sethisto
Each year, we get an ornament or two from either Hallmark Collectables or the Carlton Heirloom lineups. The last few years have been relatively similar all things considered, with Pinkie Pie wearing different winter clothing in the same model for each season. It looks like something else is finally happen on this front, with the introduction of the Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle above.
They aren't yet available as far as we can tell, but they should appear as we get closer to the holiday season.
Thanks to Loretta for the heads up!

MLP: Friendship is Magic #32 Released Today! - Download Links, Variants, and Discussion!
by The Illustrious QI hope those vampire bats don't give Pinkie a fright. For they do eat apples all day and night.
For those of you going to BronyCon, I hope you're ready to snag a whole bunch of covers. Three exclusive covers for one con from the same issue is something I've never heard of happening before. But perhaps with the crowd they are expecting this year, it may be warranted.
Well folks, today's the day. The Apples are invading Ponyville! And there really is only one way to deal with troublesome sentient apples.
Anyone up for Apple Sauce, Apple Cider, Apple Juice, Apple Pie (not the pink one above), Apple Dumplings, Apple Fritters, or just regular plain old Apples for breakfast? I brought my apple peeler and apple corer.
While I go and enjoy my appletastic feast, you can check out the links before for the usual.
