Hasbro has teamed up with TripAdvisor to show off ads on various social media sites, parodying a clip off their website showing people reviewing and discussing a trip to Maretime Bay. It's pretty well done overall. Expect to see these popping up if you have adblock turned off. There are three in all.

Over in New York city, the Paley Center is running an event called "PALEYWKND", where they are inviting a bunch of people from sports, media, and gaming from the 30th of this month to October 2nd to show off what they have worked on or are currently working on, convention style.
The pony bit of news here is their announcement over on Twitter that on October 2nd, they will be hosting a meet and greet with Sunny and Izzy and screening My Little Pony: Make Your Mark as part of it. Tickets for the event can be found over on their website if you want something to do for the weekend.

Go watch and absorb, then bring what you found here! It looks like they are hiding a LOT in each episode that reference G4 and other things.

We've got a bit of minor news that a lot of people were actually asking about. If you saw the trailer or watched episode one, Make Your Mark's Twilight Sparkle has been confirmed to be voiced by Tara Strong by Gillian Berrow over on Twitter, despite not appearing in the credits.

As a teaser, the Netflix After School channel has posted up the entire first episode of Make Your Mark: Chapter 2 for those struggling to find a place to watch it. If it was the Hasbro channel, I'd think this was going to be a weekly thing, but I doubt we will get more than this out of Netflix themselves.

When I first set that countdown ages ago it felt like the release was so far away. Today officially marks the release of Make Your Mark! Or at least an hour after this post goes up.
If you missed out initial announcement earlier, we will be doing daily episode posts at 10 AM PST for all 8 episodes if you'd like a place to discuss each one specifically. We won't get that slow burn like we got with G4, but at least we can try to absorb them and really dig in to everything.
There are people on the Discord server planning all day parties if you are interested in that. It's always more fun to discuss episodes live, so synch them up and have some fun with it if you are one of the people around this late in the US or in another country where it's actually releasing in the middle of the day.
Anyway, go enjoy make your mark! Hopefully it satisfies that pony itch.

Five Months of this and I'm still not burnt out. I'd say that's a record for any game for me. Pony really is the pinnacle. Or at least running around in a variety of adorable color equines keeps me interested in things.
Back in August I posted up a gallery of ponies I've run into and found interesting in some way, found them all pretty places to take pictures, and stole their images for my new nft market an EQD post. Today I return with another batch of amazing ponies and places we've discovered in our journeys into what really is the absolute depths of the internet. People have taken the OpenPony model and turned it into just about anything you can think of with some absolutely incredible costumes and accessories.
Join me in being impressed with people's endless creativity below! We've got kirin, bee ponies, bat ponies, butch ponies, regular ponies, canon ponies, and a variety of neat locales to really augment their overall themes. We have two episode title reveals this morning for Make Your Mark: Chapter 2, via Youtube's contentID of all things. The first is "Growing Pains", and the second is "Izzy Does It". The latter is probably based on the book of the same name, which you can find the details of here.
We are 20 hours out as of this post going up, so expect a flood of G5 soon!

The Singapore branch of Hasbro is running a Make Your Mark event for anyone out there with kids that wants to celebrate cartoon horses. Happening on September 24-25 and popping up again for the first two days of October, they promise limited edition pony merch, Cutie Mark Making, and the usual visuals you'd expect from one of these.The celebration happens at Takashimaya Department Store in the children's department.

A bit of late for EQD news tonight! Spotify now has a listing for Tell Your Tale's soundtrack. It only had four songs right now (at least here on the west coast of the US) and some regions haven't unlocked them all yet, but it looks like this will now be a good source for listening to the songs from the series if you've found any you liked!
You can get it on Spotify over here. Apparently it's on Deezer too, which means it will probably be everywhere if you use some kind of streaming service.

We actually might be a little light on Sunset Shimmer art this year for a regular big gallery. Turns out 90% of it would have to be hidden behind saucy tags in the case of the humanized post, and there isn't a whole lot of pony.
