Derpy seems to have found herself in quite the pickle tonight! These guys are certainly not getting any mail delivered by her anytime soon.

BronyStudy is back with a new survey for the fandom, collecting all the sciency goodness we have to offer! The study is entering a new phase that hopes to expand their scope a bit but why not let one of the leaders of the survey speak for themselves?
Hello, my name is Daniel (Professor Uponium) and I am one of the members of BronyStudy, last December we (myself and Dr. Stephen Reysen, who has worked with other fan groups from a social psychological perspective) asked the fandom to respond to a survey on Prosocial behaviors and we recieved a massive response. In comparing Bronies to general fans and other fan groups initial analysis shows that following the core message of the fandom seems to influence Bronies to engage in prosocial behaviors differently than what we would expect from previous research. I am currently working on both a presentation for a conference and a paper for publication on the topic and will post the full results and information as soon as we finish writing them up!So not only will you help out science but you have a chance at winning a gift card for yourself! Sounds like a pretty good deal. You can find the survey below!
Today I (along with Drs Reysen and Plante) would like to ask everypony's help on this new survey launching what we hope will be a broader future for BronyStudy and understanding of fandom and group identity. This survey will aid in collecting general information about the fandom and it's relation to other fan communities that have been examined and surveyed in the published literature.
For your time and participation in this survey, you will be eligible to enter your email into a draw for the chance to win one of several $50 gift certificates to Amazon.com (your odds of winning the gift card are based on the number of entries and are estimated at 1 in 200). Your email entry will not be linked to your responses in any way to preserve your anonymity.
Here we go! The top pony music channel have released their monthly community voted top 10 list for the best tracks of august 2016, and it includes some really cool music, including a whole variety of different genres. They've also managed to get some commentary back into their videos, so if you like some preamble before each track, you're in luck. There's actually surprisingly little electronic music on the list, so for those of you who prefer rock, metal and orchestral stuff - this is a good one to check out!
Sorry for getting to this relatively late guys, no one sent the ratings into us and it slipped our minds. Anyhow, the ratings for The Fault in Our Cutie Marks are in and they are relatively the same from last week with The Fault in Our Cutie Marks bringing in 197,000 viewers compared to Buckball Season's 204,000 viewers. Not too bad I must say!

LittleshyFIM has dropped a new, completely different video covering the history of Equestria, starting way before the events in Friendship is Magic even began. Apparently this is based on a parody of another series, but for the sake of consistency I'm capitalizing titles! Legasp.
Go get it down below.
We've got a new game for you guys today inspired by FiM that initially started off as a game featuring Rainbow Dash. Over three years ago we featured some clips of the game here on EqD, showing off some of the combat and flight mechanics. After lying dormant all this time the creator is back, making it his main project but due to the legal reasons of using Rainbow Dash in a game he has revamped it to use completely original characters though their design would easily fit within the FiM universe.
Keeping the same sort of mechanics as the short clips linked above, the creator has expanded on it quite a bit and has created a Kickstarter to put things into high gear. It looks very rough at the moment, but the same previews seem to promise a lot of content and the game's characters have a lovely look to them, especially Sulphur. As for the story, have a quick look below which was taken right from the Kickstarter page.
Sulphur Nimbus works as a scouting bird on a merchant ship. One day, the captain is pressed for time and decides to take a shortcut across dangerous waters. This route goes past the island known as Dronningsøy, a name surrounded by ominous rumors. However, they are on schedule and all seems well, so Sulphur decides to fly a little closer to check it out. Suddenly a storm appears, as if by magic, and prevents her from returning to the ship . . .Caught your interest yet? Well with your donation you can gain access to all sorts of wonderful prizes, from plushies, the soundtrack, a physical copy of the game or even your OC in the game itself!
Want to learn more? Check on after the break for the preview video if you're interested or find the Kickstarter link below! The game shows potential and it would be nice to have another pony type game wouldn't it?
Earth pony magic is clearly the act of defying physics. Pinkie Pie was the hint, this one was the confirmation.
For the record, I'd watch a trapeze magic show.

Yesterday we dove into Bethesda, and it was primarily dominated by the idea of a game in their exact, open world style. This series isn't just about ponifying an already existing franchise though, it's also looking for the best developer or publisher to create the best possible pony experience out there!
One company in particular that has broken on to the gaming scene recently thanks to their interesting way of doing things that fights the newer profit driven norm, is CD Projekt Red. They don't have a massive catalogue of titles under their belt, but they are absolutely awesome when it comes to releasing what they do have.
Head on down below the break for some of that!
Streams are here again you guys! I hope you've been enjoying them and I hope that the artists have as well. Taobao is ON POINT lately. I guess someone over there is going a little crazy on the leaks! We have a a new lineup of either blindbag ponies, or simply miniature sets from the Friendship is Magic Collection or others on the way.
The imige above is loaded with brand new molds for specific characters, as well as a few new ones for random unknown ones. Chances are they are your usual HasbrOC's, though they could be hints of future episodes.
We will get an update out once more is known about these guys!
Thanks to Ryan and TaPiA for the heads up.

A super oldschool set of brushables that included the one and only Minty was spotted at Toys R' Us. Apparently they are re-releasing this for anyone that couldn't get their hands on her before. I've heard that's a pretty massive deal. She did technically invent the concept of ponies in socks after all. Find the pack at Toys R' Us!
Joining that, we have the Sunset Shimmer EG doll and new version of the Friendship Experess train now available in Europe, spotted at Cardiff in the UK.

Thanks to Pip and Lewis for the heads up.
Pacific PonyCon has added Mary Bellamy of the My Little Pony comics to throw growing repertoire of show staff. If you find yourself in San Diego in January, get the details below for tickets!
After their first spotlight recently with Party Harder, ApostropheShy returns with a more electro-influenced house track that's just as bouncy as the last, just in a slightly more dance-y way. I think I actually like this one more than the last one - it's good to see some consistency in the quality of their music. If you like upbeat electro house tracks, this one's worth a look!
If you are attending Ponyville Ciderfest next month, expect a ton of music as they have invited an absolute army to entertain you.
