Feeling up to doing some science? BronyStudy is back after a bit of a hiatus and they are looking to gather some crucial information from the fandom before G5 starts later this year!

As usual, the survey takes about 20 minutes and if you're older than 18 you have a chance at winning an Amazon gift card for filling it out!

Brony Study is back once again with a very important, time critical survey they wish to complete over BronyCon weekend! The survey will run between August 1st through the 5th and for those who enter, and are 18 years or older, they have a chance to win an Amazon Gift Card!

Seems appropriate posting this during the March for Science today! A science brony who worked for the original BronyStudy is expanding the work they did on that project and have a new survey for you guys to take to help with that.

Bronystudy Asking for Just A Little More Data

Bronystudy is still working hard on completing their book for release to the world but they are still looking for a last bit of data to help push them forward! I'm not sure if it is new or not, so give it a check to see if it's new to you and help out today!

BronyStudy Releases First Look at September Survey Results

Remember the BronyStudy survey we posted about back in September? Well a first look at the results are in for all you science fans out there! As usual we'll keep you guys updated with future survey announcements and results as they come in.

New BronyStudy Survey - Chance At Gift Cards for Science!

BronyStudy is back with a new survey for the fandom, collecting all the sciency goodness we have to offer! The study is entering a new phase that hopes to expand their scope a bit but why not let one of the leaders of the survey speak for themselves?

Hello, my name is Daniel (Professor Uponium) and I am one of the members of BronyStudy, last December we (myself and Dr. Stephen Reysen, who has worked with other fan groups from a social psychological perspective) asked the fandom to respond to a survey on Prosocial behaviors and we recieved a massive response. In comparing Bronies to general fans and other fan groups initial analysis shows that following the core message of the fandom seems to influence Bronies to engage in prosocial behaviors differently than what we would expect from previous research. I am currently working on both a presentation for a conference and a paper for publication on the topic and will post the full results and information as soon as we finish writing them up!

Today I (along with Drs Reysen and Plante) would like to ask everypony's help on this new survey launching what we hope will be a broader future for BronyStudy and understanding of fandom and group identity. This survey will aid in collecting general information about the fandom and it's relation to other fan communities that have been examined and surveyed in the published literature. 

For your time and participation in this survey, you will be eligible to enter your e­mail into a draw for the chance to win one of several $50 gift certificates to Amazon.com (your odds of winning the gift card are based on the number of entries and are estimated at 1 in 200). Your email entry will not be linked to your responses in any way to preserve your anonymity.

BronyStudy has returned with a brand new survey that takes a look at the prosocial behaviors and charitable giving of the pony community! They hope to use this data to compare with other fandoms out there to see where we fall in the charity/prosocial spectrum.

Brony Study Announces New Website Feature

I was running a little low on science pictures so have a wiggling Calpony! He wiggles for science you know! Ahem, what this post is really about though is a little announcement from the Brony Study folks! They've added a new feature to their site and they want to give you all a reminder that the pre-season 5 survey is still up and that they'd love your answers.

The Bronystudy is happy to announce several developments:
