So long as we're continuing to turn the fanfic mill on EqD, now's probably a good time to reintroduce a feature we've neglected for a couple of months by now. Fortunately for these features, I don't have to do a thing aside from plug them here!
Several of the EqD pre-readers have teamed up with other long-running fic authorities to form the
Royal Canterlot Library, a project dedicated to identifying and promoting the better, if not best, stories this fandom has to offer. Instead of waiting for authors to submit their stories as Equestria Daily does, the RCL curators go out and find fics to recommend on their own. Between our two organizations, we can attack the problem of separating the wheat from the chaff on both ends.
Keep tabs on their
blog every Friday if you're looking for a finer sieve of fic than what we offer here. If you're a newer writer in need of advice, then
definitely check them out -- an in-depth Q&A session with the fic's author accompanies every feature they publish. In the meantime, we'll be cross-posting their articles here every Wednesday and Saturday until we're all caught back up with the times.
