With Youtube's Geek Week coming to a close, I think a lot of us were expecting the pony headers to close with it. This is apparently not the case (at least for now), in fact, even more ponies have been added to the roster of names.
Youtube confirmed for top tier. Lets see how long these last!
Thanks to everyone for sending it, and Pale_Horse for the image.
Another pony book has popped up on Amazon, though the title quickly changed on it. A cached page on google reveals "Welcome to Rainbow Falls". The synopsis sounds like it would be a lot of fun:
Tour another awesome area of Equestria as the ponies attend the famous sporting event known as the Equestrian Games in this fun storybook illustrated with artwork from the hit TV show. Includes punch out postcards! This one only clocks in at 24 pages, so it's not one of those massive chapter books. I guess only time will tell on what exactly it contains.
Thanks to Whathisgame for the heads up.
Release #2 of the Nightfall Beta has released, with quite a few changes to the overall game:
- Added mercenary system (booyah!).- Added tutorial (more booyah!).
- Added 10 more nights (new enemies, bosses, etc.): up to night 20 (and even more booyah!).- Added 'Options' menu.- Added structure control panel.
- Lesser enemy spawn rate (so it's not incredibly hard to play without getting a Game Over just at Night 3).
- Bonus money per night is now increasingly progressive.
- Lower price for some structures in store.
- Added Spacebar to drop to the ground while flying.
- Added sky-blue power-up, which reduces damage received. If you want to give the platforming/tower defense/mining hybrid a shot, head on over here to check it out!

We haven't had a good Octavia Vs. Vinyl Scratch thing in a while. Start with that in the first slot from Yourenigma, filled with remixes, followed by some tribal orchestral from CitricAcid dedicated to Zecora, and finish with a bit of dancy/ravey Applejack, because she isn't always boring. Get them below!
1.) YourEnigma - Tavi and Scratch - My Roommate is a 'Bassist'
2.) Zecora's Adventure
3.) donglekumquat - Cider Slider
The Toys R' Us exclusive Favorites Set #2 and Shadowbolts Rainbow Dash single have slowly started creeping their way into stores. As you can probably tell from the image, this one includes Derpy, Chrysalis, Shining Armor, Lyra, Cadance, Diamond Tiara, and Lyrica. The website still lists the ship date as 12/31/2013, so be sure to call your nearby retail location before making the trip.
Thanks to Flutterdragon for the heads up!

The MLP comic series is known for its crazy amount of variants, and the cover gallery book hopes to point out the majority of them. If you are curious about it, head on over to Comic Book Resources for a preview.
Thanks to Millstone for the heads up!
Lyra and Pinkie Pie just released, but CrazyToyCollector randomly ran into these two on his recent trip to Toys R' Us. As far as I know, we have only seen prototypes of Spitfire so far, and Bon Bon was only a rumor. Either I'm losing my mind, or someone derped and sent these on accident.
Your best bet would be to call your nearby store and hope they derped as well.
The We Love Fine Ponies Vs. Villains contest has finally ended. The winners can all be found over here. Color me surprised at the single Luna shirt. I figured she would dominate again, as always.
Thanks to everyone for sending it in!
With a card game on the way, we are going to need sleeves for protecting the cards, along with mats and more robust binders! These are some of the deigns you can expect to see in the near future. The Facebook Page for Ultrapro actually points out MTG specifically, and from the looks of it, they will work for just about any card game. Thanks to Carlo and W. A. for the heads up and images!
