Oh my God every single time I see these I can't contain my utter joy and admiration for how awesomely talented this fanbase is.
ReplyDeleteParticular favorites were #1 (so pretty), #4 (so awesome), #10 (so cute), #31 (so funny), and #47 (so fluffy), but hell, there isn't a non-great picture in this whole bunch.
Also, #38 raises an interesting question: if clouds are solid for pegasi, can non-pegasi be on clouds if they're on a pegasi? Because if so, that has... disturbing consequences for what was required for Twilight's second spell in Sonic Rainboom.

ReplyDeleteI don't consider Nyx to be 100% OC. She is a physical manifestation of the body of Nightmare Moon, who is most definitely not OC. Nyx is a potential second chance for NMM, a chance to become an innocent reborn pony, or a chance to try usurping the rule of Equestria again. I've not read the story 100% through, but I see Nyx as a development of NMM, done in a very enjoyable and entertaining manner.

And Anons that hate Nyx are not loving or tolerating. Besides, what is a drawFRIEND if we can't all be friends and get along, and realize that art of for enjoyment. Nyx isn't a self insert, or some ridiculous fan creation of garish personal design. This is Nightmare Moon... micro. The disconnect in consciousness, but the awareness that memories exist is a powerful plot point, and I strongly feel Nyx isn't 100% OC for this reason. She is purely and extension of Nightmare Moon, with enough of the evil torn away to give her the chance, of a chance.

Src. 2: Fluttershy handed that unseemly porcine behavior with her excellent speaking tactics. Bravo, Fluttershy! Bravo, artist!
Src.3: I have noticed one particular comment, from pastelpony, to be exact. "Slendermane". Is this he, I ponder?
Src. 4: The Great and Powerful Trixie. But of course. If I know her (and believe me, I do) she'd NEVER be left out of the action. However, the pentagram concerns me. If I remember, it is a pagan sign of some sort. (Note to self; look into this) So, what exactly is Trixie doing this time?
Src. 5: Twilight Sparkle. Modest, yes, but quite the zapper with magic, eh? Unlike Trixie, who's expertise mostly involves in illusions and light levitation.
Src. 6: Rainbow Dash would certainly approve of this. Calm, yet telling of her large ego.(it's not unjustly had, she's quite talented in her own right, if a little brash) Beautiful. (Another note to self; Hmm.. wonder if I get it as a wallpaper, seems about the right size)
