Of all the characters of MLP, I can't really think of one that has left a greater impact in the mind of our fandom culture than Luna. Introduced to us originally as a villain in the form of Nightmare Moon with a tragic backstory behind her and a whole season with her being nothing more than a blank slate, the fandom went crazy with fan theories about her. From fanfics of her adjusting to modern life to tragic tales of how she ended up as Nightmare Moon to silly instances where she was an avid gamer, Luna filled for us with a wide variety of roles and still remains popular to this day.
With the show ending years ago, that trend does not seem to be one to change anytime soon. With what we know of her from the show and as her place in the fandom continues to evolve, what do you think of her overall character development?
