#2: I'm sure this is meant as Raridash, but I can also see it as one friend being there for another. Sweet image either way.

#6: This is just all kinds of cute, especially the way Fluttershy has one hoof sticking out from the covers.

ReplyDeleteIn regards to Dash/Rarity: because the people who want to ship ponies with similar interests ship Rarity with Twilight or Fluttershy, and the people who want to ship ponies on the principle of "opposites attract" use Applejack, since Applejack is a better opposite to Rarity than Dash is (heck, they made an entire episode about how they're opposites).
In regards to ApplePie: I haven't the slightest clue, but you can get in line behind me as I wait for more Twinkie. (It's a shame, the two pairings where the ship name is an actual thing both involve one of the same ponies. ApplePie vs. Twinkie: The Food Fight of Shipping.)
Anyway, #17 is adorable and is, at least for me, the first time I've seen Applebloom drawn in the show's foal style.

Hate to admit it, but I didn't feel spoiler safe in the current climate so I broke down and watched the episode.

1) These shipping pairings get more and more ridiculous each day. I mean, what would those two even have to talk about? I suppose he'd enjoy her cooking though. Always enjoy some Cheerilee in my Drawfriend.
2) A more unusual pairing, but then I just read the big finish to the zany "Fixing Miss Smartypants" so this actually works for me. Regardless, they look cute and snuggly.
3) Insects on the nose edition! Love her expression.
4) Er, Trixie... your hoof's on fire. She seems pretty confident nonetheless.
5) Oh, this is too cute. I mean it. Probably in violation of some local ordinances. Lovely job.
6) Her blanket looks so soft and comfortable, for some reason. Nice soft colors.
7) I hate to see Luna with a broken heart, but she does wear it well. Nice graphic quality to this one.
8) Ha! I love the cartooning here, and especially how okay with this arrangement they both are.
9) What a lovely Fluttershy. Purplekecleon (how does one break that up?) has such a great talent for brushstrokes... it's always a treat to see new works here.
10) Another crossover I don't know, but a great looking pony. I especially like the socks and shoes.

12) Wow... town is bustling at dusk! Such a great image! And 1000 extra points for being the only pic in today's Drawfriend to include Twilight. I remember way back when she used to be the star of this show. Probably asked for too big of a raise in her contract or something. Regardless, another excellent image in one of my favorite series.
13) Rainbow Celestia? I do like the Screwy family keep vigil by the statue of Discord. A neat image full of vibrant detail!

Cherilee's always been my favorite of the ponies not related to the mane cast, which compounded the power of the massive headdesk I performed when I found out that I'd watched the leaked episode without realizing it until today...
