ReplyDeleteFirst one was funny, second one, meh. Skits were too long and not funny. Last one I noticed a animation derp i never noticed before. WHen pinkie derps, the turnip suddenly has a cup appear next to him outta nowhere. Holy crap! Pinkamina summoned stuff!

Thanks for the feedback.
I feel that some of scenes may seem to be too long in "Sunday". The problem was finding a good spot to cut em, which I failed to do.
I'll keep improving.

ReplyDeleteSeth, as I'm sure you've been told before, the correct term for something like this would be PMV Hell, wherein it's a collection of short PMVs. I do thank you for having the disclaimer that they're not technically YTPs in the blogpost, it should at least cut down on people like shouty over here a little bit, but using the right terms would solve the problem completely.
PMV = Pony Music Video, but term could also probably be stretched to include trailers. Pony clips put to other audio.
PMV Hell = Several PMVs in one video, probably only a few seconds of each song or thing, split up into different sketches. Occasionally there's some Youtube Poop-ish content put in there as well.
YTP = Manipulating scenes from the show to comical effect, making characters say or do funny things, and/or including clips from other media with comedic intent.
YTPMV = Audio(/video) clips from the show rearranged and probably pitch-shifted to make music.
This whole nomenclature business doesn't really bug me but hey, just posting this for the benefit of the ones it does.

ReplyDeleteIt's just because part of that scene was cut out. Pinkie Pie goes and gets the cup for Mr. Turnip, but for whatever reason that was sliced out of the video.
Oh God! The Mortal Kombat thing in the first video had me laughing my ass off.

First one was really good, like that Anthology video, and the one that had "PILLZ HERE!" with Twilight (can't recall that one's title).

The secone one was well done, but spent too long on each joke, so it was paced far too slow.
These AMVs are proof that there are other My Little Pony/Portal jokes you can make with using the Space Core. Seriously, We've ran that one into the ground.
