ReplyDeleteThe artist said it's supposed to represent Rainbow Dash after Applejack ran away in "The Last Roundup" (though there's not really a good way to fit it into the episode's timeline); I'd lean towards friendshipping, though I suppose one could put some romantic meaning into it as well.

It's better, but it's not more challenging; all you have to do is write your sentence ahead of time and copy it, so once the Drawfriend's up you just paste it in the comment box. If you follow Ponibooru, you can usually spot at least one image you can be sure will be in that evening's Drawfriend, and write your comment based on that, if you're feeling bold.

It's better than SC4, but still a pretty far cry from the standards set by SC1-3. The graphics are great, the action is still pretty solid, and story is at least trying this time around, but it's all kind of hollow and meaningless. Still fun though, made in-game customs of all the mane-6 plus a few others to help tide me over till Fighting is Magic is released. Maybe I should find a place to post them.

ReplyDeleteEquestria Daily was mainly /co/ blog before it got popular and art in the drawfriends were mainly art drawn in pony threads in /co/. In 4chan people who draw are called "drawfags". Following the pony theme it was changed to "drawfriend". When the blog got popular the name just stuck.
