    2. I must agree with the above poster. Manipulate but not evil Celestia is very interesting to read.

I can't really rate this story too high, it's just too short right now, but it has all the making of a six star if it continues as well.

jesus christ. completion is the death knell of too many fantastic stories.

    4. Adventure & Complete, with one chapter... Oh.

Either way, still a nice story. There are often a few stories that touch on the subject that Celestia has manipulated the Mane 6 together but I've never seen one that's gone into this much detail.

It's good as it is but it's be nice to see what other Strings Celestia has been pulling.

    5. hi, author here. I considered it a self contained idea; the cute mark chronicles being just too sang much a coincidence, you know? but yall seem to want me to go more in depth? well, I'm always game; any excuse to write more. shall I continue on the thread of her making the mane 6 happen, or delve into other corners, do you think? already getting other ideas.

    6. Nice, convincing an awesome author to continue! I'd suggest anything you are comfortable with. There's a variety of situations Celestia might have manipulated, to teach Twilight Sparkle, keep the peace, or just have some fun.

Off the top of my head, getting the mane 6 in the same town that's also closest to her old palace, sending Twilight two tickets to the gala, watching Twilight's reaction to the Parasprites while running damage control as they spread, the background about the massive dragon that just happens to nest in walking distance of ponyville, the entire gala after and before the mane 6, the possibilities are many!

But that's just what the series gives us, Im sure you can think of a few other ideas.

    7. I think the logical continuation would be some reason to continue manipulating the Mane 6 after they defeat Nightmare Moon.......

    8. Well I must say this is quite an interesting read, the idea of Rainbow and company not being the first candidates for the Elements' physical embodiments is a nice concept and--wait a second

HOW THE HELL DID SKYHOOF AND BRAVECOAT NOT DIE FOR AT LEAST SEVEN HUNDRED YEARS

-2 stars due to glaring plot hole

    9. THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME.

      This gave me chills.

I can't even begin to describe what went right with this. Six stars minimum.

    10. @banjo2E

The story jumps between preparations for the current potentials and the glimpses of the previous potentials.

Ah, that makes much more sense. Stars restored due to my only real issue with this story being negated.

    12. What the...
I know I read this story like two or three months ago. What's going on here?

Interesting..it actually is a few months old; I showed it to a few people but then sat on it cos I was waiting for my proofreader to get to it. Tell me, are you on FM or Equestrian Dawn at all?

    14. @Kiyyik
Well, yeah, Equestrian Dawn -- Dusty -- but I would've sworn I read this before I got on there.

    15. ...but now I'm thinking about it I guess it's possible that's where I got the gdocs link from, and I just assumed it was posted here.

Sorry, just -- that was really weird! :D

    16. I enjoyed this. Considering what it was about, it did a good job keeping itself from breaking my suspension of disbelief, and I always like seeing Celestia stories that play up her Chessmaster capabilities.
