• New Album: "Drinks On Da House!" Released!

A while ago I posted these alcoholic beverages inspired by each pony.  Someone named Silva Hound over on Bandcamp took these one step futher, and created house-style music to go with each one.  Whether he did this while actually consuming said alcoholic beverages remanes(can I do that? Can I misspell that with mane?) to be seen.

Anyway, you can find the entire thing streamed on the page below, as well as for sale!

    1. Music that corresponds with drinks? Pony drinks?
Why haven't I heard about this before?

    2. lol @ the "Invisible Touch" sample in Pinkie Pie's, that's great. Spike's has a really nice guitar riff in the middle. Scratch's takes a while to get going but let it get started and watch out.

I... might just get this. I'm kinda digging this.

...Seriously? The least you could do is not lol right in the comments about how ~*smart*~ you're being by pulling out the songs like that.

Considering the average album from a brick and mortar store would run you about 8 bucks, these are REALLY good, and vaguely pony related, i daresay you are an enormous dick

Bandcamp's not being "foolish" for streaming the full songs - they and the bands who use their service know perfectly well that there will be people who will save the streams. They're basically counting on there being enough people out there who respect the work of the artists (i.e. repay them for their efforts monetarily) to make it worth their while.

    14. I love these, but how many of them are just mixes of pre-existing songs? that would kinda dampen my enthusiasm. Not too much, i mean, these still kick ass.

    15. Too bad the ALBUM isn't "On Da House"...

    16. Love the album, even if I'm sober XD

    17. I'd also be interested in how much/little is taken from the non-mixed songs, as i'm quite sure most of it is an original effort from him.

    19. How do you steal it with Firefox Cache?

If you're using Chrome you can do this:

      1. Go to the page with the music

      2. View > Developer > Developer Tools (Command-option-I) on mac anyways, probably something similar for windows

      3. Click play on a song, "track" will appear on the box at the bottom

      4. Click track

      5. Copy the "Request URL" (it's the very top thing) and open that in the URL bar

      6. File > Save Page As, etc.

Oh it turns out at step 4 you can just double click "track" and it opens in a new tab. Handy.

    22. I had no idea about the alcoholic beverages, glad someone came up with the idea (even though I wanted to come up with some myself :( )

      Overall, not a bad album.

Now all I need is a drinking game.

    30. Pretty cool album. The first 2 songs would kinda be a hit-or-miss for most people, but it gets much better after those. (not saying that I think those are bad, imo, but if you don't like them, I recommend skipping to song 3)

    31. @Anonymous WOAH! Are you THE Lauren Faust?

    32. I love Renard for creating the drinks, and Silva Hound even more for making songs for each drink.
I now have the elements (drinks and music) to have a very brony New Years.
