    5. The armscye's tight, the middy collar doesn't go with the shawl lapel, the hems are clearly machine-stitched, the pleats are uneven, the fabric looks like toile, you used a backstitch here when it clearly called for a topstitch, or maybe a traditional blanket stitch, and the overall design is reminiscent of prêt-à-porter and not true French haute couture... But... uh... you know... um... whatever you want to do is fine...

We need more Trixie, or we'll never have the old Seth back.

    7. I could just copy-paste what I said about it almost a month ago when it came-up on AllSpark.

      - Mane needs to be fuller
      - Horn looks weird
      - Wings need a better design, puffy lumps on the back just don't fit
      - The way the hood's shape is drawn makes me think pre-G4, no matter how I look at it
      - Needs to be about 20% more Luna

Also kind of wish it wasn't a hoodie. You can't wear a hoodie in ninety degrees.

      ReplyDelete
    8. Needs to be 20% more... Or maybe less money.

      ReplyDelete
    9. Maybe I can sell a kidney on e-bay or something...

      ReplyDelete
    10. That doesn't look like Pinkie Pie at all.

      ReplyDelete
    11. hmm i would just go with the cutie mark,
the horn, mane and ears would make me look weird when i wear it.
now where can i find a purple hoodie....

      ReplyDelete
    12. Purple? Best Pony Me isn't purple, I'm blue.

      ReplyDelete
    13. The only one I would probably wear, is Zecora's, manely because it's not too girly, and I think I could pull it off as not being my little pony if asked x3

      175$ though? No thanks :)

    14. Although these are alright I'd much prefer these. I came across them while browsing around dA.

    15. OH GOD YES :D

But I'd like to see a real foto of them :p I'm a bit skeptical.

      I Agree

      ReplyDelete
    17. Do not want!
Seriously, a horn and a mane makes the hoodie look freakish, it requires different design!
There was once a topic about rainbow dash hoodie with ears, mane and shit, but this, thi is twice as bad!
I'm sorry, i shouldn't be too rough, it's good collection item, or if you were planning to put it on a fashion show as it has similar outfits, but this is not something any sane person would wear outside, and i don't mean only brave true ponies can wear it, i actually mean any sane person that has at least tiniest bit of self-respect left.

      ReplyDelete
    18. Definitely would like to see a photo first, and that's a lot of money. People who have mad crafting skills and use their talents /should/, by all means, get compensated for their work. But I don't have that kind of money laying around, and even if I did, I wouldn't spend it on a hoodie. :/

      ReplyDelete
    19. These are uninspired and generic to me. I enjoy the enthusiasm and desire to create fan merch, but when you get into the expensive territory, you better make SURE you are making quality creations.

Just slapping a recolored hoodie together and charging upwards of 100 bucks for it is laughable.

      ReplyDelete
    20. No thanks on those hoodies. 2 problems: One they look pretty weird kinda like G3 ponies. Another being WAYYYYYY too expensive. It needs to be 20% of the original price. Then people might buy it. As for me I'd stick with a RD t-shirt or cap but nothing fancy.

      ReplyDelete
    21. I love the first line of this post, LOL.

Honestly though, I think the hoody looks stupid. Would be cool if it was just a normal hoody with twilights symbol covering the whole back, and maybe on the front. Wouldn't mind having a teal one with Dash's symbol, but I'd never wear it, and not just because I don't wear hoodies.

      ReplyDelete
    22. Too expensive.
I'm not gonna pay around 150$ for a hoodie that I wear once and that I'm going to hide in my drawer for the rest of my life.

      ReplyDelete
    23. Would you guys honestly wear THAT in puplic? :/

(Seriously, sometimes this fandom creeps me out...)

      ReplyDelete
    24. >horn, mane, ears
      It continues.

      ReplyDelete
    25. I'd like a Rainbow Dash Fitted Cap please, either that or a cutie mark hoodie or t shirt these seem TOO loud and expensive.

      ReplyDelete
    26. Wow, not really my thing at all and a bit too much for my taste but still interesting.

      @Anonymous
These I like, most of them are much more wearable (although you have to be brave enough to do so of course)

      ReplyDelete
    27. YES!
I will save up for a Rainbow Dash hoodie and wear it in public.
      Haters gonna hate.

      ReplyDelete
    28. If I tried to wear it in public i think i'd break down laughing at myself before getting anywhere serious.

      Roll up to the club...

      ReplyDelete
    29. Best pony in the show, you say?
      Hrm, I don't think that's Luna...

      ReplyDelete
    34. So wow. I didn't know about this place til my friend told me. I'm a bad pony. >.<
ANYWAY, I'm the creator of the hoodie designs. I've been posting more on my FB page trying to explain the price and stuff.
Regarding the price: I'm not a machine, I don't live in China and work for 5 cents an hour, and I don't buy wholesale currently because I don't have the money for it right now. If you want something made with care by a human in the US, then custom stuff can be expensive.

Also, regarding the design, if it's not what you are looking for, but you are legitimately interested, then talk to me. We can figure out a design that you are happy with. I love customization and creativity.

Finally, these are just drawings, keep that in mind. I made the template in under an hour, for a hoodie I thought I would want to wear. If it's not for you, then that's okay, but I wanted something different that wasn't completely over the top, but still unique. I understand we all have different ideas about what is okay for day-to-day wear. I have a little more bold/crazy sense of what I would wear.

    35. @Anonymous
      Sanity? Self-respect?
I have no need for such trivialities.

And there is a Rainbow Dash design.
Haven't seen a Fluttershy or Best Pony Me design yet, though.

      ReplyDelete
    36. freaking sweet want one^^

      ReplyDelete
    37. @Pegasi

Of course I would! I'm a girl, though.

      ReplyDelete
    38. Anyone who can wear these in public is more manly than I.

I'm hesitant to even buy a t-shirt with a pony on it.

      ReplyDelete
    39. This looks like a cross between a furry suit and a hoody.

I tell you now, next thing you'll know we'll be making full body pony suits and start pretending we're actually ponies.

      Oh wait: http://ponibooru.413chan.net/post/view/18202

      ReplyDelete
    40. Not to be a hater but this makes it look like your a furry.

      ReplyDelete
    41. @Anonymous

I gotta agree with you mate. If I were to buy a FiM Hoodie, I'd at least want it to be fashionable.

I wish the ears and mane would be scrapped. Have the mane as a coloured pattern decorating the hoodie instead of having using faux fur. Have the fringe/shape of the hoodie match the hairstyle of the respective character scheme.

Wish the people would turn to assassin's creed hoodies for a reference.

      ReplyDelete
    42. i like the idea, but this is just creepy
would never ever wear that in public

      ReplyDelete
    43. Y'know, at least the original Japanese anime hoodies with animal ears have much more...er...reserved designs. (But still, I think in the US, a person would have to be a teen female to at least TRY to get away with it in public.)

Horn? Maybe. (I've seen "devil" horns on some of the Japanese ones...albeit not in combination with ears) but the mane is just getting into a whole weird area...

      ReplyDelete
    44. Yeah, it's a cool idea but I've seen too many anime fans wearing cat ear and dog ear and wolf ear hats and hoodies and such.

You think it looks all kwai and such, but you actually look like a huge dork. And this is coming from someone who has no issue with walking right up to the counter at toys r us and buying ponies. It's not a matter of being brave or anything else, it's a fashion don't, simple and direct. A hoodie with a cutie mark in the right place could look really cool, this not so much.

      ReplyDelete
    45. @Anonymous
I was reading the Facebook page a bit.. I wish everyone else would.
The picture shown here are just concepts. The person making them is taking requests on how the hoodie looks. Don't want an actual 'mane', and just want the hood itself to be the colours of the mane? She can do that. Want a hoodie with the colours of your OC pony? She can do that.

      ReplyDelete
    46. I don't know, if I saw the real thing I might be a bit more convinced, but the price tag is just a bit out of my reach for something that's only going to engender hate... I has a sad.

      ReplyDelete
    47. Although that spike one... Might be fun to flip a hater off with claws. Ha.

      ReplyDelete
    48. @BronyQuest

Thank you! I wish people would read it as well. Maybe if I just explain more here:

IF THIS CONCEPT IS NOT SOMETHING YOU ARE INTERESTED IN, THEN TALK TO ME AND WE CAN MAKE A DESIGN YOU ARE HAPPY WITH.

Like I said, I love customization. If you want it to be different, I will do my best to make you happy.

If you don't want the ears, they won't be there.
If you don't want the fur, and maybe just wanted a solid color hood, I can do that.

And of course the prices would be adjusted to fit the change in design.

However, I hope you aren't simply "hating" behind the Anonymous title because it's easy to do so. I know I can't please all the people all the time, but that's why I am letting you know that I can be flexible, and I will gladly make changes to make YOU happy. =)

    52. All the furry haters could do with a little more love and friendship. :(

      ReplyDelete
    53. Didn't see Rainbow Dash, but I'd want that one.

      ReplyDelete
    54. I just want to know who would want one. not trying to be mean but if you want one please give me a brief description of yourself (preferably age and gender, but if you want give me a couple of your interests (besides ponies)

      ReplyDelete
    55. 19, male. I am seriously considering getting one of these. Who needs sanity?

Actually though, I've always been a loner and I'd probably wear it as a sort of discipline. I'm not a furry or anything. My main interests are religion, philosophy, music, literature, and mathematics. If I wore one, to me it would be an outward symbol of being committed to not allowing society to dilute the authenticity of my spiritual life, if makes any sense...

      ReplyDelete
    56. Fashion, fashion, ever thou art an interesting beast...

      ReplyDelete
    57. I'm sorry, but this crosses the line from perfectly acceptable fandom to obsessive FURRY CRAP. RARARARGH

      ReplyDelete
    58. Hmm. Wouldn't touch it in the form it's pictured in, but if it was a more ordinary style decked out in a sweet pony color scheme, I'd love it. Ditch the fur and attachments, stick to the cutie mark and colors.

      > BEST PONY
      I agree. :D

      ReplyDelete
    59. I'll say the same thing I said to the first draft of the Rainbow Dash hoody - TOO BUSY. The best designs are elegant, simple - over-designing something and throwing on random bits leaves you with a monstrosity.

Simplify the design, lose the mane and the horn - they do nothing but complicate the design, make maintaining the finished product more difficult, and ultimately just look goofy - stick to a single color hoody with cutie marks on the pockets, maybe wing patters on the back for pegasus designs

      ReplyDelete
    60. Oh man the furryphobia in here is hilarious. *snickers* Oh no some people think these jackets are cute / cool and would wear them. Raawwwr. At any rate too expensive for me but I like them.

      ReplyDelete
    61. she has "subtle" designs too, with no mane, etc. check 'em out; they're really cool.

      ReplyDelete
    62. I really want one of these XD and wear it in public. I already wear my kitten ear hoodies <3 I want a Rainbow Dash one though. To bad it's so expensive ._. I hope I can afford one someday.

Also for the person asking for who would get one, my interests are:
Editing videos, music, digital art, cosplaying and reading and I'm 18^^

      ReplyDelete
    63. something I could wear a few times for teh lulz but I don't have 150$ laying around and if I had I wouldn't spend them on something I'm going to wear only a few times

    65. The item I desire most is a Spike hoodie. In my heart spike is best pony, after Derpy of course.
