ReplyDeleteWell... yeah! The social, energetic party pony and the shy, withdrawn nature-lover? Seems less "opposites attract" and more "different worlds" to me. I'm a RarityxShy-ist, myself.

I think they'd make a sweet, adorable couple, actually. Now if Pinkie reveals who her crush is and it's NOT Flutter, I believe I will be a sad.

ReplyDeleteBut I'm probably evil. Twilight's reaction leads me to believe then unicorns aren't as open minded as they could be. Or Twilight is a complete shut in.
They could be such a cute couple, and they're so protective of each other, but easy endings feel so cheap.
After reading so many fics with sad endings, I think it's time for a happy one.

ReplyDeletePinkie tells Fluttershy to wait in the clearing while she looks for the flower.. Fluttershy falls asleep..
Then Fluttershy carries an injured, almost dieing Pinkie Pie into the cave, is injured herself AND theres a dragon around.. But Shuts her eyes, and cries herself to sleep..
The rest of the chapter was good, I just don't think "sleeping" made sense for these situations?
Well, I guess it was late at night, then again you do have a point.

ReplyDeleteHaving read on to part seven, I must remark that the first four parts were the best. They held me breathless at Fluttershy's plight. Probably because I could identify with her so well. After that, cliche tragedy strikes. This could have been finished at five parts and it still would have held me captive.

ReplyDeleteBut....I tried to read this. I got into chapter 5 (from the beginning, never read it before) and it's just....I dunno how to put it. It seems to go too fast, there's not enough depth to the writing. Both the focus chars seems OOC somehow too. I dunno, it just kinda feels...very forced too.
