So apparently we completely forgot that January 19th is technically EQD's birthday!   That's a whopping two years of pony.  I never imagined this fandom would reach the massive levels it has over the years, but here we are still truckin along!

I already threw a pile of words at you all a few days ago, but I'd like to give my thanks to everyone again for sticking with us for so long!   EQD is fun only because you guys bombard us with fun stuff to post, so keep at it!

Hopefully this next pony hiatus is shorter than we are used to.  I'd recommend taking those online pony friends of yours and planning some real life events.  There are hundreds of meetups for a reason. Geek culture is meant for it!

Onward to to more pony!

Saturday Livestreams

It's that time again my friends! Saturday is upon us and that means it's time to hangout with a bunch of pony artists. Today we've got a very diverse group for you all to watch, including many new faces and some returning ones. Quite a few this week are taking requests, so if you have an OC you'd like drawn up or have a funny or awesome scene in your head you'd like to see become reality then make sure to check out our list of artists today!

If you'd like to participate in the Saturday Livestream event, whether you are new or a returning artist, please contact me at calpain@equestriadaily.com with your name, livestream link, a gallery link if you have one, what sort of art you're doing that week, and a banner if you've made one! Keep in mind that the Livestream event starts every Saturday at 4pm EST / 1pm PST and that content in your stream must follow our content guidelines for EqD which you can find under our submit page.

Meghan Reveals Keep Calm and Flutter On's Original Title

A bit of minor stuff floating in from over on Twitter.  Meghan McCarthy revealed the original title of Keep Calm and Flutter on a few hours ago.  I'm kind of relieved it was changed! It would have been a pain spoiler titling everything!

We Love Fine Varsity Collection, and Others

We Love Fine has released a new varisty style pony collection, each emblazoned with a different pony.  I'm pretty sure Fluttershy is going to win the popularity contest here, considering her team is the best team and all.   Yeah I said it.

They also have a couple of other new shirts up.  You can find all of them in their pony section!

Animation: Spider-man meets My Little Pony

From the same person that brought you Batman in Ponyville, we have a new one revolving around Spiderman!

The jokes are a little cheesy at times, and the OC ponies will give you nightmares (or maybe thats the joke?), but it's pretty entertaining overall. Also ponies.  Head on down past the break to check it out!

And bonus points for Trixie, even if she does get clobbered by a tomato.  

Doctor And Fluttershy Up for Pre-Order

It looks like Hot Topic has tossed up pre-orders for Doctor Whooves and Fluttershy. They appear to be running with a pretty odd system for the translucent variants though, going with a 1 in 24 chance of receiving one.   Honestly, as a non collector, I am hoping I end up with a normal set, but chances are the rare ones will be worth more in the long run.

That or I and everyone I've linked it to completely misread it.  It happens!  They are labeled "variant" after all in the actual title.
