Nightly Roundup #526

Yeah, I've been in sort of the Christmas mood lately, what with all the holiday songs playing on the radio and the promise of visiting family soon. Plus it certainly doesn't help that Christmas is my favorite holiday! On a side note, considering the CMC's difficulties and their proximity to that tree we can only assume they are going to end up covered in tree sap.

While I go off to get them a pail of warm water and some washcloths, have some news! It's a short one tonight, so it won't take you long!

That's right, another week means another good night message from Pinkie Pie and a special guest! This time she's wrangled Scootaloo into saying sweet dreams with her so let's wish our favorite little pegasus a very fair evening in return. See you guys after the new episode tomorrow!

Tumblr Spotlight: Ask the CMC / Ask Young Pinkamena / Ask Movie Slate

Hello again everyone! Calpain back again with another Tumblr Spotlight, covering some of the tumblrs out there you may have missed as you trek through the massive world known as Tumblrpon. It's been awhile since our last edition, so let's hopefully kick this one off with some good tumblrs shall we?

First off on our list tonight is Ask the Cutie Mark Crusaders, a wonderful blog ran by the incredibly talented pony fan who brought us Picture Perfect Pony! Before he was known for his animations, he was known for this cute little tumblr, detailing the adventures of the CMC with very charming and show accurate style artwork. Following the form of many other Ask style tumblrs out there, the CMC answer questions from the audience, but also occasionally delve into story arcs as well. So, if you're a fan of the CMC, of Picture Perfect Pony or both it's certainly a tumblr worth checking out!

Larrys / Jetpack Comics Issue #4 Revealed

As with the last two sets, Larrys and Jetpack Comics have revealed their next joint cover.  It looks like we get a bit of Celestia and Nightmare Moon this time around. These were sent out in an email that you can find here. 

Issue #4 doesn't ship (woops) until February, so we have a bit of time before any kind of pre-orders will pop up.  We will keep you posted if anything arises!

My Little Investigations Demo #2 Released

The Phoenix Wright style pony game My Little Investigations has released it's second demo.   This one doesn't actually continue off where the last one ended, but it does improve a whole load of things, as well as add extra features.

Hot Topic 15 Dollars all Tees, 25 Dollars all Hoodies

It looks like Hot Topic is running a pretty huge holiday sale for those of you that still want one of those pony tees or hoodies.   They appear to be running a bit low on stock with pony shirts, though their searching system isn't the most accurate on the planet, so some dodge the "My Little Pony Tee Shirts query".  You can still get a Derpy hoodie for a cheap 25 bucks though!

Artisan Pony Crafts Compilation #7

Every time I see one of these pony automatons I'm just blown away! It reminds me how I've never seen anything so elaborate or wonderful as these creations in any other fandom. I'm truly blown away at how creative everyone is!

I swear, it gets harder and harder to choose a header image with each new compilation! Check out what I mean after the break.

MLP Comic Issue #5 + Microseries Covers and Synopsis Revealed

It looks like IDW released their solicitations for March, and with that comes some extra pony content to chew on! Three covers have been revealed, one for issue #5, and two for the Rainbow Dash portion of the micro-series. Head on down past the break for synopsis of each!  I'm really glad this series is doing well, it's almost like an extra set of episodes to drool over in these long weeks of ponylessness.
