  • New Pony DVD on the Horizon!

Good news from Shout Factory for us pony fans! Apparently they are hard at work on the next DVD release of MLP:FiM! While they are still single-disc releases who wouldn't want a hard copy of pony sitting on their shelf? Besides, who knows what extras might be included. We did get that awesome extended version of the theme song from the last DVD!

You can check out the source here.

Thanks to Senn555 for sending in the info!
  • Stream post!

I don't know how to do a stream post so apologies if I mess anything up.

  • Pony Door Hangers

It is that time once again for "random stuff for you to cut out and use for random stuff"!  In this edition, we have a set of brand new door hangars for all you people that just want some peace and quiet on new episode day.  Each one is stylized after a specific pony, though they all share similar messages.  I guess "watching ponies" would work in several situations outside of actually sitting in front of the monitor/tv.  PG rated situations of course!

    Anyway, check them out here!
  • Cadence and Shining Armor to Appear in NY Times Wedding Section

The hype continues to build as the countdown to the season finale rolls on. The Hub has arranged for the New York Times to announce the wedding of the century in their weddings section this Sunday. Which, really, is only appropriate for a ceremony of this magnitude. How many times are we going to get to experience a wedding for ponies? And for a princess, no less!

This article from popwatch contains, in addition to some half decent pony puns, a full clipping of the article to be displayed. You should check it out to see some interesting tidbits such as Princess Cadence's full name and her relationship to Twilight's family. See also, the first official journalistic quoting of Pinkie Pie.

The 21st really can't get here fast enough. I want my ponies in pretty dresses, already!
  • Comic: Trixie Land Powerups / Nightmare Moon Origins / Hey There

I am perfectly alright with giving Trixie further superpowers.   The Greater and More Powerful version is even better.

We also have Luna and Pinkie Pie being ridiculous below!

  • Top Draw Production Board Includes Thirteen Season Three Episodes

Over at the Top Draw site, under their In Production tab, we seem to have a little addition among their other projects- thirteen season three episodes, scheduled to be completed in the middle of August.

Before you go all a-twitter about the number being produced, keep in mind that Friendship is Magic is created at two studios, Top Draw being one of them. It is likely the workload is simply being split up to get the episodes out faster, and that's good news for us. It means less no-new-episode syndrome. Symptoms may include fanfiction and conniptions.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
  • Fallout: Equestria 1 Year Anniversary Special

Welcome to the One Year Anniversary Special post for Fallout: Equestria!

A year ago on this day, a little story called Fallout: Equestria was posted to Equestria Daily. It had done the rounds on a message board for video games and had been pretty well received, and various readers suggested Kkat try her luck with EqD. A few passes through the pre-readers later and it was posted.

And updated. And updated. And updated.

A little over 624k words later, the epic behemoth of a fanfiction has finally been completed... but the story goes on within the community built up around it and in a plethora of sidefics.

In this post, we'll be taking a look at the backstory, some of the characters and just what inspired Kkat to write it. For those who haven't read it, beware of spoilers! There's not much can be said without spoiling some aspects of it, so be warned!

As linked above, the New Fallout: Equestria Sidefics Post has been updated too, with 77 sidefics to read and enjoy. More on FO:E itself though, after the break.
