This is very good. I'm surprised there isn't more LoZ MLP crossover Although I think Link shpuld have a few more lines, but to keep him in character while adding lines would be very difficult. Best of luck
Majora's Mask is my favorite zelda game. And quite frankly so far i believe you're pulling this off quite well. I can't wait to see more of this story, keep it up!
At first i was like, "why is this grimdark", and then i remembered how dark some of majora's mask could be. I'll be looking forward to this one

As someone said above. Majora's Mask was my first Zelda game, and by far the most memorable of all the zelda games I've played. For now I give you 5 stars, and high hopes for the continued success in this. But be warned author, you've a lot riding on your shoulders should this lead to a terrible disappointment.
For now, however... I'm going to go start a new game.

Hm... I rarely give five stars out to fics that are just starting out. I usually save those for when a story with an intriguing premise lives up to the expectation.
But... I can't find anything major to complain about in this story. Link is in character, as is Twilight, and what little I remember of Majora's Mask seems accurate... And correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the events of Majora's Mask HAVE happened, and that Link remembers them, hence his having the Mirror Shield and the Hookshot.
Thanks for the kind words everypony! Out of all the Zelda games that I've played, Majora's Mask was definitely the one that I enjoyed the most. I got quite a few ideas that I'm still sorting out, but I hope to capture the same magic that made the game unique along with a bit of pony flair.
At first when I saw this, I was like "Euch, fuck, this'll fail..."
Then when I read through it I was like "Oh holy crap, oh holy crap!"
This'll kick ass as long as you come up with a good villain to steal Majora's Mask.
Also, Twilight better become a Deku. For your sake. :P

Great story so far. I always liked MM and ranked it among my top 3 zelda games because of its grimdark origins.
Is it wrong for me to imagine the music in my mind as I read each part? That's how big an impact the game had on me.

This is my second ever fan fiction ever read. Twilight is very well written and believable. I read every line from her in her voice.
now link... He's tricky. He just seems kinda... I don't know. Dumb? ah! He did speak once. He doesn't need to speak too much, just say what needs to be said. It's going to cause trouble. All this motioning and pointing. nooooo. :O

The lyrics aren't mine, they were originally written by ColdFlameZero. While I was writing the first chapter, I was listening to various Song of Healing videos. One of them had a girl singing those lyrics, and I was infatuated by them. So...I put them in!

Read Chapter 3, worth the wait. Also, if I may say, for the love of Luna, PLLLEEAAASSSSEEEE continue linking the OST to the beginning of each section/area. It made the experience 20% cooler, dare I say more, plus the nostalgia levels were incredible. Can't wait to read more

These handy saddlebags were a gift from the gracious Cremia! You can hold a variety of useful items within the two containers carried on Twilight's back. In the item screen, select the item and press X, Y, or Z to open it up. Then select the item you want to use.
You got some HAY!
This is a staple food for farm animals...and hungry ponies! Select from the Saddlebags screen and assign to X, Y or Z. Use it to regain some of Twilight's health.
And yes, I'll keep doing this for every "inventory" item they obtain. Keep up the good work!

The closest thing you can do is to subscribe so you are alerted about new comments. I don't think that it will tell you when Seth puts up the new link. If you just pay attention to the front page, you'll eventually catch it when it's done.

Prior to reading:
When I saw this, my eyes wouldn't stop reading the title. When I clicked on the link, I saw the cover of Twilight Princess. I was confused, then I saw the title and relief quickly filled my body. That's my only complaint, but its a minor thing so I shouldn't complain...anyway, I'm expecting great things from this story.
