This sounds interesting -- just like the article that was posted a week or so back about Equestrian Economy, and I enjoyed that.

I really enjoyed the podcast these guys did on MLP a while back. I reckon Equestria's runs along the lines of somewhere like Norway.
It's pretty socialist, and stuff like government programmes aren't seen as intrinsically bad or interventionist or whatever, but there's still a pretty large degree of personal freedom and egalitarianism.
I don't think there's a bureau of central planning or a pony politburo or anything.
This is made of awesome.

I'm watching every other show of this series because of that.

Also, for those of you who feel this is too in-depth, it's nothing compared to the Geeknights MLP forum thread.
People have been pointing out some errors we have made, and also some of you are making errors. Keep it coming.
I do just want to say that Equestria is clearly without a doubt a country, and not the name for the world. There is tons of evidence in the show to support this.
Also, so you people know, we actually recorded a bunch of these shows before the season was over, and it just takes time to do post-production. However, some of our information might be off because the season wasn't over yet. We'll do more episodes once we finish producing the ones we've already recorded.
The first three pilot episodes are, as Apreche pointed out, very old. They were recorded well before the first season ended. Starting with the fourth episode of the pilots, you'll see more up-to-date commentary. ;^)
@Apreche Don't fret about the errors. You still have our love, and I, for one, am looking forward to what else you have to say!

Due to the overwhelming response, we'll definitely continue with the show. Expect the next pilot episode to go out on Sunday. This one is a first look at Pony Magic.

As I said on youtube, I think the second episode was MUCH more on topic and relevant, and just funnier in general. OVerall just a great show.
When I saw Captain Pony and podcast thrown together, I couldn't help but think of Show Me Your News. Nostalgia...
