• Pony Sweepstakes!

A Friendship is Magic sweepstakes has popped up over on Sweepstakes.com.  Looks like it's as simple as "liking" the pony group on Facebook, following the My Little Pony Twitter group, and commenting in their section below.

The rewards are your basic pony toys, but hey, this might be an excuse to finally get some for those of you who are too embarassed to head to the store!  (And there are a ton of you if the poll is any indication).

You can find the sweepstakes below! Good luck!

    5. I bought like 7 of the toys. It was very awkward. But not awkward enough to prevent me from doing it again.

    9. Commented as a Brony. I don't wanna waste my money on these crappy toys. It would be nice to get them for free though ^.^

    16. Man, to think that only a few months ago, I never would've guessed that I'd one day have an intense desire for My Little Pony toys...

Ponies have changed my entire life. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Doesn't sound like true friends :/
They should respect you for who you are and what you like.
I post stuff about it on my Facebook and another social network too all of the time and haven't received a single negative response so far.
You should tie them up and force them to watch the show, converting them into bronies once and for all.

    18. @anonymouses... anonymi? anonymeese? Screw it.

I just don't tell people that I like MLP. They find out for themselves. And if they don't like that about me, then so what? I feel absolutely no shame for being true to myself and loving something I really enjoy.

I just don't go around shouting, "FUCK YEAH, PONIES!!1!" and forcing my love for the show upon others. Sure, maybe they might like the show too, but at the same time, if they don't like it and don't want anything to do with it, why provoke and/or upset them? That's just what I think.

    19. To bad I refuse to get a Facebook or a Twitter.

    20. Pffft...
All the comments on the website say CHILDREN like this show.
      WHATEVS!

    21. That's not fair... I don't do Facebook. I HAVE BEEN CHEATED!

    22. It's not that I'm too embarrassed to go to the store, it's just that toys aren't my preferred type of merch. T-shirts and things like that are more my speed.

      ReplyDelete
    23. It's not an issue of embarrassment for me, but rather an issue of no monies.

    24. I got back from my tour in afghanistan in April. When i did I saw this little show taking the internet by storm. I watched it. I don’t even have any kids to hide behind. This show brought a smile to my face I haven’t done in a long long time.

Why should I get the toys? Because nothing makes room inspections hilarious quite like having a bunch of multicolored ponies on a shelf in plain sight. :3

That was my submission to the contest. Army Brony and proud!

    25. Ballsack. I go, like the Facebook page, comment, am about to go to Twitter and make an account just so I can follow there, and I notice you have to be 18. I turn 18 in August.

      Fuck.

    26. I would feel bad if a kid didn't win...I'm entering the sweepstakes anyhow.

      ReplyDelete
    27. Whenever I see a contest that's open exclusively to Americans, I feel compelled to enter on behalf of all of the Anons that can't.

However, this time I entered just for me. I feel bad for all my bronies overseas (or just over the border!), but this is all about Brony #1.

    29. I love how all the comments say something about wanting to win for their granddaughter/daughter/niece. I just put that I'm a 19 year old dude and I want the toys for myself.

    30. I'm really tempted to enter this, but at the same time, I feel I shouldn't. I'm a grown man -- I can, have, and do buy my own Pony toys. I get the terrible feeling that my entry would just be one more percentile odd stacked against some little kid who loves the show as much as I do, but doesn't have disposable income. -Especially- after reading all those survey reviews about grand kids and nieces/nephews who adore MLP.

    31. I would love to win this! I may have to share with certain family members though!
