Lauren Faust has stepped down from being Executive Producer of the show, She is now the Consulting Producer. Luckily the rest of the team will remain intact, but it's still sad to see her leave. She really did bring us something amazing. Hopefully whoever takes her place is willing to stand up to Hasbro's marketing department so we don't end up with Pink Trucks in season two. I am praying that they realize how ridiculous it would be to ignore this massive side demographic.

This fills me with dread! DREAD I SAY! Although she will still work on scripts and story conception, which are arguably the parts most reliant on her as the creator and producer of the show. Still, I advise we initiate immediate propaganda campaign in support of the new executive producer.

ReplyDeletethe reason she had to step down revolved around the character creation, hasbro wasnt willing to accept the roles of the character she was proposing their were many different concerns some revolving around implied sexuality, hasbro didn't want to be connected to controversy over sexual roles

I dont get why people are whining and bawwing like she wont be working on the show; let me spell this out plain and simple. SHE IS STILL ON THE TEAM!! GET IT INTO YOUR THICK HEADS.

ReplyDeleteYou haven't done your research. She is NOT involved with the show from Season three onward. The "Consulting Producer" title is there in recognition of her LIMITED involvement with season two. And that's done. As of now, she no longer has any involvement with the show.
This is all easily verifiable, if you'd look it up- she posted on her blog about it and expressly said the above.
They just kill the succes of the serie!!!

ReplyDeletePeople this is not the end of MLP Fim even so the show might get a bitter better but mostly its a high chance the show will start to get less popular but that doesnt mean we will change besides all the bronies out there crying right now but have any of yous gone on Equestria gaming or Equestria Online (EO) and have seen what other people/bronies are doing right now becuase of them people the Brony Community will still GROW! the community will not change in like a flash just because Lauren Faust is not the Executive Producer for FiM anymore but she is still there and hasn't left us Bronies... yet... im saying 'yet' because well she has work for a long time now and she proble doesn't feel the sparke anymore and what i mean by that is she just lossing ideas or she is going through something at the moment that could be life changing BUT this still doesn't mean you all should just give up on the show we are Bronies and we can do stuff that no other random group of people can do for exsample Equestria Online is going smoothly and is also very close to announsing a Demo or a beta but people just dont give up and leave the Brony community who knows the next Executive Producer might be maybe just as the same or simular to Lauren Faust and what im saying here is that they could have the same or simular ideas towards the show. just dont go and leave just because Lauren Faust is not the Executive Producer anymore. and also remember we are full of LOVE and TOLORENCE and that will not change us just because of something very sad has happened we still have each other too, so if you feel like it and if you know someone els who is also a Brony go give them a hug to cheer then up if they ever feel down.

Look at that video, look at it. Are they booing, criticizing, badtalking, beating the crap or doing anything negative to him? No, they are eating that straight-up obnoxious shit with no substance like it's imported Belgian chocolate.
Season 2 and 3 is an obnoxious, immature, tryhard, unimaginative over the top cesspool with no substance. It has hateable stereotypes, yet they love and protect it to death.
After the summer of 2011 the fandom was already too filled in retards and betas with no standards or self-respect in order for them to bash the show and the crew which worked on it.
Now you see ton of delusional shitheads saying that the show has improved, on what fucked up basis do they do it? ''Animation improved'' more like le epic special effects made in Adobe to cater to the manchildren. Also the animation lost it's transparency, which makes it look like it's sped up and the objects such as characters have no reflex or anticipation, making it look stiff(robotic).
Seasons 2+ is a clusterfuck of everything but the kitchen sink.
The people never kept in mind that Studio B(Dhx Media) is a bullshit Canadian company with no standards and the team who worked on MLP is exactly the most fucked up of all the teams at DHX Media. Not to mention Jayson and Wooton have no experience as a director, let alone any kind of talent. DHX Media turned into Studio Brony after Faust left.
And yes! you damn /v/irgin or other critics, the first season was an average overglorified pile of shit as well, The thing is that some people were expecting the show to get way better in season 2 and also when you compare anything to the lowest quality toilet(season 2) of course that anything ends up being better.
Then again...an obnoxious TV Show that wants to be le epic coolawesome action(over the top) to match it's obnoxious fanbase which thinks it's cool.

ReplyDeleteNow that we have g5, it's looking like Hasbro said "Ok, new start. Too many still liked the New Generation movie, despite destroying everything everyone knew and loved about G4. Let's dumb down the series to something only 7-12 year olds can tolerate and get some REALLY annoying voice actors to hopefully shake the middle-aged males. That was getting creepy, and if we're gonna continue this franchise, we need to get back to the intended audience."
