• MLP Musical: Rainbow Rocks Countdown—3 Days Until Opening in Singapore!

I'm pretty sure this is the first mostly clear shot we've gotten of the Rainbooms in their concert attire from this musical. It's so clear I can actually identify where most of the costume designs came from. (Hint, five of those designs are from the Rainbow Rocks shorts, one is heavily inspired by a book cover, and one is completely original).

The @MLPMusical_RR Twitter handle has been tossing up a few more promotional images for the show's three performance run on November 27th, 2016. You'll be able to find those after the break, along with a piece of information about another aspect of the movie that was trimmed for time for the musical adaptation.

I seriously can't get over how accurate the costume Keira Laws wears while playing Aria.

See, this isn't a show just dedicated to the Equestria Girls. We actually have ponies! Which look a lot like the 4DE Plushies that came out a while ago!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that background is from the Crystal Empire.

Okay, now I want to see Nicole Oliver and Tabitha St. Germain in those Celestia and Luna costumes! Victoria Quigley and Jazmin Patey Ford are absolutely killing it in those get ups!

All the background Canterlot High students are making their appearance in this show. Love how accurate those designs are.

Three little words Sunset Shimmer never thought she'd write again, "Dear Princess Celestia…"

Yes Rainbow, you are clearly as awesome as you want to be.

"And when the music comes alive, we sing our songs to lift us up so we can shine."

First it looks like the show recreated the choreography from the film with the song. Second, I foresee these being adapted into halloween costumes in 2017.

Spike: "Eh, that sounded… way better than the last… five times you played it. Heh heh."
    Big Mac: "Nnope."

So the Great and Powerful Trixie (plus her song Tricks up My Sleeve) and the romantic subplot that went nowhere in The Rainbow Rocks Film have apparently been cut for time.

And judging by the cast list and the photos above, it looks like the same fate has befallen Spike and Big Mac. And maybe someone else but outside of one shot of the Dazzelings with their siren wings, nothing has appeared from Welcome to the Show. I seriously wonder how the show pulls off that sequence.

One last thing folks. Hugh Osborne has a little bit of advice if you want to see the show come to the US. I think you can probably guess what it is, but it bares stating it outloud.

I'm pretty sure we know how to do this.
