ReplyDeleteA videogame creepypasta without starting like "I buyed the game from a pawn shop" and no ending like "i was scared and i burned the cartridge"
I expected it, but next time make an psychological terror ending, please, Jay6?
May God have mercy on my soul. I love you D':
ReplyDeleteanimation rolling was it for me with the pets (i guess) and that was a little creepy, but i liked it even more then the "normal" ending, *shuckles* really good work there and definitly got a good place in the creepypasta rating, like it even more now hehe, even so the storyarc is a little weird in both endings <3
ReplyDelete... I think I am not going to sleep well tonight.
ReplyDeleteEveryone who attempted to get the ending...
Please, DO NOT.
@dwarfyz
ReplyDeleteI would probably have done something more terrifying if it wasn't for the fact I have a young niece and nephew who both love my little pony. My niece really wants to play my game, but I still fear that even they would somehow find it accidentally, even though they're never awake between 11pm-6am.
[SPOILER ALERT]
ReplyDeleteGot the Blank Flank one. If you want it, play between 1:00 AM and 5:59 AM, and talk about everything to EVERYONE. REMEMBER to do Pinkie Pie before everyone else (so you don't trigger the other ending), do Ditzy/Derpy before AJ, give Ditzy/Derpy a good muffin (not a baked bad, other ending). If you saved Zecora for last (don't knof if that's necessary) walk off screen again and walk back to her, then it should be nighttime.
By the way, is there a way to get past the 3rd evil pony? He seemed too fast, but that might be on purpose.
@Jay6
ReplyDeleteThen you could make an version with no bad ending, i mean..
Thats on purpose... there isn't a way to get by him.
ReplyDeleteAllright. Thanks for the sleepless night with that ending >,<
ReplyDelete@NonoPony
ReplyDeleteDidn't look like there was an arrow at the bottom indicating you could leave the screen, so I doubt it.
I survived, but I'm not the same pony I used to be...
ReplyDeleteFinally got it...
ReplyDelete;~;
@NonoPony
ReplyDeleteThere is a glitch that can make you walk above the ground in that area (in the trees), but even if you're up there, it will still catch you. there's no avoiding it as far as I can tell.
@Thraxen
ReplyDeleteThanks, hadn't noticed that. You just saved me a few tries before rage-quitting.
@Jay6 Is anything coded to happen if you DO glitch past the third one?
ReplyDeleteDarn my computer has to break the day j hear this >:(
ReplyDeleteWell, i didn't get the ending or something.
ReplyDeleteBut that was an enjoyable experience. Thanks for the game, Jay6. Looking foward to whatever you make in the future.
... I'm trying to do it again, and it never goes night. Any clue? It's 1:40 AM.
ReplyDelete@Yappy
ReplyDeleteLol, nope. It's impossible anyways. I almost considered doing something like that, but there is just no passing by that bloody hooves.
Dat secret ending.
ReplyDeleteMe Gusta.
Well the proverbial cat is now out of the bag on the blankflank ending, I think I;m just gonna look it up on youtube.
ReplyDelete>yellow and green pegasus filly
ReplyDeleterainbow factory anyone?
it's too bad that no secrets can be kept secret for long on the internet. Having ultra super ultimate secrets in videogames is a thing that so few has nowadays, while it really gives the game that special charm.
ReplyDeleteEh. Not what I expected: I'm not precisely overwhelmed here. Mostly because it was a bit original, and at least interesting.
ReplyDeleteI was expected some kind of generic reference for the Blank Flank ending. I'm glad I saw that; it was a decent ending... but I can see why other bronies wouldn't like it. The original Blank Flanks creepy pasta wasn't as violent or gory.
More games need a secret ending like this. Bravo :)
ReplyDelete@Jay6 Hee, thanks for resolving that, anyway. And seriously, GREAT game. I've got all three endings. The boss in the main mode was brilliant! Tricky, but with that classic once-your-fingers-have-it-you'll-win feel to it!
ReplyDeleteOh shit.
ReplyDeleteI was convinced that it was all a cruel joke played on us innocent saps. But I just walked back to Zecora and now it's night and she has red eyes. I haven't played through the ending yet, but it is definitely real and NoNoPony's directions on page 2 of the comments are accurate.
@HeroInferno
ReplyDeleteDuuuuude, if it goes on Youtube, let me know asap!! :D
Okay so I restarted my browser re did everything, made sure that all Ponies had said all they had to say sorted out giving Derpy the muffin went to see Zecora and then everything was dark and she looked so freaky, I'm sure most of you have seen it by now. So it seems restarting my browser let me get the ending, not sure why I couldn't get it before
ReplyDelete@Whiskra
ReplyDeleteSecrets are only charming if you're privy to them, otherwise they tend to annoy people.
I feel... Strange.
ReplyDeleteLike I need to play it again...
..Don't leave me...
...Go back.
Someone record dat secret ending and put it on Youtube.
ReplyDeleteI want to see it without actually playing the game at 11:00pm.
OK. I got the Blank Flank ending. And the bonus prize that comes with it.
ReplyDeleteNightmares and Insomnia.
Guess I'm sleeping with the lights on tonight.
In all seriousness, great game. It was pretty fun, especially the scavenger hunt to find all three endings. Great job!
Heh, BEN references...
ReplyDeleteDat blank flank ending.
Remember, guys going for Blank Flank....
ReplyDeleteDO *NOT*.
TURN *OFF*.
THE *LIGHT*
@Yappy
ReplyDeleteWhen I started playing, there was enough light coming in my window that I had the lights off. As I kept playing, I was too frustrated at not being able to find the ending to notice that it was getting darker and darker.
Then I finally found the ending, and I nearly shat myself.
It wasn't the creepiest thing I've seen by a long shot, but it was definitely startling.
Zecora's eyes..Are...Red...o.o" I am afraid to go on...But I am very curious..Oh God..I will do it.
ReplyDeleteI got the blank flank ending... I can barely type now... I'm shaking too much D:
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought I was bad at handling scary games...
ReplyDeleteDAMN IT! I couldn't read Twilight's words! Anyway, the Blank Flank ending was quite interresing.
ReplyDeleteI got the blank flank ending... Oh god im shaking so much i can barely type :(
ReplyDeleteThe Ben reference was too much too :(
@WolfAndBirds You should turn back, my WolfAndBird.
ReplyDeleteTo walk ahead would be absurd...
@Thraxen
ReplyDeleteIs that really what people think of secrets in video games? It took me years and years to find all the secret levels in Super Mario World, and I never used the internet for that, because there was none. And it felt so rewarding to find a new secret, not only because you felt the excitement and joy by it, but because you got to see new cool stuff, perhaps stuff you hadn't seen in the game before! For example, one set of enemies was only present on one single secret level and not anywhere else in the entire game.
Why would it be annoying to try to find secrets? Is it really this instant reward-no effort thingy going on since a few years back that is the cause of this? I'm intrigued.
*Goes on*
ReplyDeleteAww!Luna sleeping!How cute!<3
...
...
...
O.O"
OMG..Tree!...OK,NOW I am really afraid to go on..D:
Honestly i gave up trying to find it the normal way -___-u
ReplyDeleteBut i found the ending anyway.
For all guys wanting proof that it exist look at this:
http://imgur.com/zdKrU
No!Luna!D:...
ReplyDelete...
...
I just "finished" the game..
Well..No sleeping for me tonight!D:
@Whiskra
ReplyDeleteWell, I was fine with the whole thing until it turned out that it only activated at night. Just made the whole thing seem cheap, because there'd be people who'd be doing exactly what was needed, but they'd miss out on it simply because they didn't know about a completely unknowable parameter that was completely out of their hands, so they would stop trying to get the ending and miss out.
Just seems less fair when it's something like that.
aww I just figured it out and someone else tells you all I was gonna laugh at you... It was kinda obvious from the clues.
ReplyDeleteWinter wrap-up, winter wrap-up!~ Wow, talk about mood whiplash.
Oh dear sweet Celestia! I got it after changing my system time. Very creepy.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty certain the worst part is listening to the cheery Winter Wrap Up in the credits immediately after going through that. Innocent songs + Horror = Song forever ruined.
ReplyDeleteI question why I enjoy psychological horror so much when I'm pretty squeamish about regular horror. I don't know how much I like the idea that I enjoy being mind bucked. Oh well, a time change and browser reset later, and I finally got the blank flank ending. Why didn't I stay with Luna?
Aside from all that, the game was well done. I have to say that the story was a bit random and off the wall, but I can chalk that up to the quirkiness of the whole game.
@Thraxen
ReplyDeleteWhile I do agree with this, I would honestly think people would figure out what to do right away unless this little barrier was in the way. But what else could've been done in such a simple game like this?
@Whiskra
ReplyDeleteWell, that's the problem; you either make it obvious so that virtually everyone gets it, or you make it so obscure that hardly anyone gets it without help.
Eh, I'm also curious to see if I give anyone nightmares over this. A friend who tested this game keeps getting nightmares about cupcakes (not because of my game obviously), and Pinkamina welcoming him back each time he has the dream. I just wonder what sort of nightmares I spawned, if any.
ReplyDeleteWasn't too scary, but I'm an adult. Would spook the hell out of a lil'un. Great game.
ReplyDeleteFuck, I don't wanna wait. I skipped the remaining comments as soon as I found out how, so I don't exactly know what appears.
ReplyDeleteStill, I'm playing other games currently that need stable time, so... At least this wait is only four hours, instead of 6 and a half days.
38 million views achieved!
ReplyDeleteAnd I SUCK at video games. In order to keep from getting fried to a crisp for the TENTH straight time I had to say UP and DOWN OUT LOWD to push the $^&(# right keys and avoid the fire balls. Grrr! I hate video games, or at least first person shooter, key mashing video games.
@Jay6
ReplyDeleteGreat game, very creepy alternate ending. I read cupcakes and, while it freaked me out, it didn't give me nightmares. Maybe the addition of horror images here will change that...
Finally found it. The 11-5 bit was the one thing I was missing. That was definitely creepy.
ReplyDeleteI found myself thinking. "Okay, at least there's no big shock moment." Then I was proved wrong.
I am now proud to have found the Blank Flanks ending by myself.
ReplyDeleteIt was VERY creepy, but I couldn't help but laugh. The sharp tone shift and Jade deciding to curse all of a sudden was strangely hilarious.
But then I saw chewed up Luna.....
got the blankflank ending and OMG WAS IT WORTH IT!!!! I will have an video up in a couple of minutes that I will link here. but please don't look at it if you don't want spoilers.
ReplyDelete@milan
ReplyDeletedoitdoitdoitdoit
(The I hate video games rant is all about me, BTW.) Cool game, very pro. 8^) Reading the comments I see I avoided the nightmare material. ^_^ I was definately getting a nightmare vibe off Pinkie Pie and Rarity, but I got a party and a quest instead!
ReplyDeleteYa know, it was weird. For the longest while, I had Luna break the fourth wall a bit. She said something like this in an earlier build: "After my debut in episode 2, my sister banished me here." As light-hearted as that was, it didn't really fit in... and besides, Luna's coming back in season 2 anyways (at least that's what I've heard)
ReplyDeleteOmaigawd now i'm gonna watch caramelldansen with RD and pinkie for an hour. Then maybe i'll be able to sleep some.
ReplyDeletelol jk after silent ponyville i'm bucking immune to stuff like this. Seriously, red paint spray on her face? I like a good horror, but... well, the dragon-beating part seemed to be better-made.
Anyway, I liked this game, even though I first thought it's only about the party and the dragon. Then i read these comments and went to see that blank flank stuff. It was a good game, but the only ending that was disturbing was the muffin one ;)

SECRET/BLANKFLANK ENDING ON YOUTUBE
DONT WATCH IT IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SPOILED
THE EXPERIENCE OF PLAYING IT YOURSELF IS WAY BETTER
Eh, I guess there is a down-side to the Muffin ending, now that I think about it. Jade is practically poisoning all of the ponies with her baked bads.
ReplyDeleteGot the blankflank ending on my 5th try, I don't know why it didn't trigger earlier, I think it definitely has something to do with the pet animation cycle, so you won't get it if you spam space over and over.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletethat blank flank ending is... really unpleasant
ReplyDeleteotherwise kudos on a great game :D
oh god I did it wrong, I stopped playing after teh dragon part. There was a scary ending?
ReplyDelete"DONT WATCH IT IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SPOILED
ReplyDeleteTHE EXPERIENCE OF PLAYING IT YOURSELF IS WAY BETTER "
I totally agree. You forgot to do one thing in that video though. I didn't try to escape/go back.
Blank Flank Ending
ReplyDelete------------------
1) Set your system clock between 11:00PM and 5:59AM if you aren't naturally there.
2) Talk to everypony (Pinkie Pie has to be talked to before all invitations are given out) until dialogue loops. Make sure to get Zecora too on the far right.
3) Make the GOOD (Left) muffin and give it to Derpy. Along the way back to Zecora, talk to everypony again for good measure (just in case you missed one).
4) When you reach Zecora, it's pretty obvious what you have to do.
Just make sure you get all of the dialog.
ReplyDeleteSadly it didn't even give me a decent adrenaline rush, at least compared to jumping in front of a truck in my dreams.
It was nicely done, but I don't get why, if you've got the skill to make a game, why you wouldn't try to make something that fits in with the show we watch and love rather than fill it full of Cupcakes and a generic shooter boss fight and Story of the Blanks horror and story-breaking humor and even a quick reference to tyrant Celestia, apparently. I mean, Story of the Blanks was good but I'm curious to the mindset which makes that the goal of someone making a My Little Pony game. What if you made a game that had good dialogue and a good story and felt like an episode? Instead we get a lot of fairly bland dialogue and simple tasks - it feels rather perfunctory, like the very first, least interesting idea of what a pony game would be .... Make the tasks difficult and gamelike and program in dialogue with depth and a real story, something that feels like an episode, and you'd have a winner, easy ...
ReplyDeleteStill, fun to play, and all the stuff was funny, even if not the sort of thing you'd see on the show ... and the blank flank ending was creepy and well thought out for something that you'd never see during normal play .... and, scarily enough, more true to the show than the normal ending ...
@Garrett Gilchrist
ReplyDeleteTrust me, if I had the time, crew, and motivation to do something a lot more, I would. But my mindset was pretty set on having something creepy as an easter egg.
Anyways, the next personal project I have planned is to start up my second animation demo reel. I'm also working with another guy (who hates ponies) to get our own game started. It'll be a full-scale game. He's the one programming it mostly, and working on the story, while I'm in charge of making the graphics for it. I doubt that it'll have pony references in it, but if he ever watches MLP:FiM, that can change >_>;
Welp, just found how to get it and about to go in...gah why am I stupid sometimes!
ReplyDelete@milan
ReplyDeleteWHAT HAS BEEN SEEN
CANNOT BE UNSEEN
Just posted my reaction to this whole thing on YouTube:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8su5CGI8S4o
Step 1: Change system time to something between 11pm and 5.59am
ReplyDeleteStep 2: systematically go through all the screens, talking to everyones multiple dialogues.
Step 3: make the good muffin (click the left ingredient everytime)
Step 4: give derpy the muffin, complete all exra dialogues
Step 5: Go talk to Zecora, then go right
God damn it! That ending was surprisingly violent. Poor Jade...
ReplyDeleteI better npt get nightmares about this.
Excellent game.
I'm very glad I got the Blank Flank ending before giving up. It was far more memorable than the hilariously corny 'normal' ending. I honestly shivered when I came across Luna for the second time. This ending -made- this game for me. Kudos.
ReplyDeleteThe Blank Flank end never worked for me.
ReplyDeleteBut given the end, I think it never did for a reason...
It's best you didn't see the ending, Luna.
ReplyDeleteYou'd wish yourself back to the Moon.
I'm not one for horror (or maybe I'm kidding myself), but I enjoyed the Blank Flank ending. It had a nice eerie feel to it, and the last scene with Twilight was freaky. But I reacted pretty damn quickly and braced myself a millisecond before the average joe would find himself emptying his bowels.
ReplyDeleteThough your artwork for the freeze-frame prior to that shot took away from the fear. Drawing horrific images is not your forte, it kinda took away from the edginess I was feeling.
Zombie ponies were pretty frightening to look at, but the animations, being the stock 'bouncy' animations, took away from the scary style they had.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the ending overall, I'm probably being too over-critical about it.
Every other aspect of the game, including the other two endings, was a great deal of fun. I found myself laughing and saying "What the hell am I playing?" during the boss battle. It was so much fun playing through that part, the sudden change from running errands to some crazy boss battle was so absurd that I found it funny and felt it made the game much more enjoyable.
Celestia apparently banished her sister to the Everfree...
ReplyDeleteNeed to replay normal mode to see if it's hinted there...
Alrighty...now that i'm gonna have nightmares for the next week and a half....(got the ending O.o)
ReplyDelete@Corkscrew
ReplyDeleteThe idea of Luna being banished somewhere kinda came from the fact we haven't seen Luna all throughout season 1 after her debut... Celestia never gives hints at it at any time. Ever.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXldyvsuPR0
ReplyDeleteWhat a stupid piece of horseshit.
ReplyDeleteLittle running around adventure thing then suddenly a twitch boss that doesn't even work too well?
Moronic.
@Jay6
ReplyDeleteOh I know.
Just checked to see if you had some allusion to it in the rest of the game when Celestia flies in.
what is it with my little pony and creepypasta games? it was well done, but this could have been an awesome, innocent product without the creepy easter egg.
ReplyDelete-thinking about following through with blank flank ending
ReplyDelete-desk makes a creaking sound
-nope.jpg
Youtube says it all for the blank flank ending... I never saw the video, just the comments. One word. Zombie.
ReplyDeleteSo, I gave up and googled the third ending. I found it and tried it myself. It was a new level of creepy for me.
ReplyDeletePoor Luna...
@NonoPony
ReplyDeleteIt works as early as 11:00 pm.
..... I will never sleep again.
ReplyDeleteMuffin?
ReplyDeleteHORREEEEH SHEET!!! D:
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nightmares.........
(BTW, that boss fight was awesome!!!)
I managed to get the Blank Flank ending to work but I Scootaloo'd out as soon as the screen turned to static
ReplyDeleteOh wow, #1 daily feature. Thaaaaaat's pretty cool. XD
ReplyDeleteWell, it's a good game... but... that ending? From the way ponies are reacting? I sorta expected more.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, it's more of a 'gore + shock value' type horror than anything else. Someone compared it to Story of the Blanks, but it's two different types of horror.
Good game though. Even if all the endings are off-the-wall.
And then I read the Rainbow Factory fic RIHGT AFTER FINDING THE BLANK FLANK ENDING!
ReplyDeleteYou'd think I was trying not to sleep.
In all honesty though, I'd love to see an adventure game that was made completely like that alt ending. That was pretty sweet.
Also gratz on the daily feature, though you'll be getting a lot of haters now.
Yeah, I realize that. That doesn't matter to me though. Haters gonna hate after all.
ReplyDeleteI got the ending... And it made my stomach turn a bit.
ReplyDeleteBut I feel like I might just be jaded. We've all heard of (or read) cupcakes, and how disturbed everyone is by it. I read it, and many of the "alternate scenarios" that others have written, but none of them really horrified me.
I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, or acting like I'm something big. But I just don't get that same jolt, or that sickened feeling, that everyone describes.
(Also: Should've listened to Zecora. Her warning is the last.)
@For Pony
ReplyDeleteHonestly, that first part with Zecora is the creepiest part for me.
Just, out of nowhere she's all... Zalgo... like... That wigged me out.
Everything else was just shock value.
@Lemonite
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was pretty creepy. The biggest one for me was the quick flash to Luna. Only really saw it for a second, but it was still something.
"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" Intentional Majora's Mask reference, or coincidence?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm satisfied now. Nicely done!
Yeah, I wanted to use some references from other creepypastas. I honestly never found the majora's mask one all the creepy. Luna game gave me a bit of a jump on the first time. Story of the Blanks was really cool too. Although, once I've seen Zalgo'd eyes on characters, I've pretty much seen it all. Nothing really phases me anymore. Cupcakes was also pretty entertaining in a sick way... I mean, I still love all the characters show, and I love watching mlp. Whenever I wanted a break from making my game, I would just watch some ponies. Sometimes I can come up with new ideas if I just take a short break.
ReplyDeleteThis was sort of meh until I got the blankflank ending.
ReplyDeleteTHEN IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!
Umm... wow guys. I'm a bit flattered by some people taking my game and posting it on their websites and all... but at least give credit to the original author (right here, Jay6. derp), give a link to the newgrounds portal, and at the very least email me when you're about to do something like that... O_o; (I have a reason why I kinda only want it on newgrounds for now...)
ReplyDeleteBlank Flank ending is best ending.
ReplyDeleteCreepy Pasta FTW!
YES!
ReplyDeleteSo far, all the best FiM games have horror in them!!! I say we should make this mandatory in making pony games. Always include a small part for horror/grimdark.
:D
THANKS JAY. IT'S NOT LIKE I WAS PLANNING ON SLEEPING OR ANYTHING. I'M DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO HAVE NIGHTMARES AFTER THAT. O_O
ReplyDeleteCute game ^^
ReplyDeleteAlso, the blank flank ending... okay man, I read Cupcakes without even flinching, but this ending freaked me the hay out. Lights on tonight.
After seeing all 3, my personal favourite ending is the muffin one. The blank flank ending is certainly interesting, but it just doesn't scream 'random pony shenanigans' like the others do.
ReplyDeleteStop being a bunch of little girls, I found that blankflank ending entertaining. I mean, you have to 'try' to get it and you don't go to a Saw movie expecting a happy ending...
ReplyDeleteOK, seriously. Some guide step-by-step to getting the muffin ending would be nice. Already on the first time I played it, I was so happy to see Derpy and I prioritized giving her the muffin.
ReplyDeleteBUT NOTHING HAPPENED.
Just the normal Filly ending.
Then give Derpy the other muffin that you can make (all the right options)
ReplyDeleteThank You :D
ReplyDeleteMy mistake was thinking that I should pick, like, 3 good (left) ingredients and just one bad (right), to spoil it just a bit.
Being a huge Derpy fan, this ending was obviously the best one for me - Thanks again.
+ there is some very big potential of what can be done with such pretty simple game form and MLP - I mean, I'm pretty much Captain Obvious in that last sentence... I'd simply love to see some another one of similar (or the same) kind with more options and longer story - as even the simple dialogues here proved quite interestingly immersive (...and a bit disappointing - when I could only refuse Pinkie's... cooking proposal).
Well, this game was a fun diversion. Not too long, dialog was pretty snappy, which is nice, everything worked, boss fight wasn't frustrating or anything - though I'd hoped there was another ending for losing to it.
ReplyDeleteSecret ending I saw more of a neat tribute than actually scary in any way. Well put together, though I still maintain that screamers are the cheapest form of horror. All in all, I give it a C+ or a B-. Hope to see more from Jay6 in the future.
I didnt't get the ending, even whne I made everything right. Even the time was right. I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteWell, I got the Blank Flank ending after almost an hour of trying different things to get the various endings.
ReplyDeleteI must say, that ending was actually somewhat enjoyable. Reminded me of the first time I played Story of the Blanks. And yes, it was 5:50AM, lights out, and volume at 3/4 max. I would have maxed it, but I didn't want to risk something like a screamer to wake up my roommate.
I assume it's not possible to get past the pony moving up and down after you see what happened to Luna. I tried to get past him, but he follows your movements too fast.
Overall, it was an enjoyable game.
Oh god, blankflank ending. Oh god. Wasn't as scary as I thought though.
ReplyDeleteMan, I didn't like the blank flank ending. It was too depressing. You can't but that in a game, man. You just can't.
ReplyDeleteI still think Story of the Blanks needed more actual story. You go through a hidden village where no pony has a cutie mark with no reason as to why. Then you come to a locked house outside of town... Once you leave, everything's all horror-lyptic with no explanation why, other than somepony did something.
ReplyDeleteIf it had to do with that ruby, then there needs to be more explanation to it, otherwise, it's just, 'Oh, this all happened just because, but because we're all undead now, we're gonna go and blame it on somepony else who is also undead.
Plus, Twilight and Apple Bloom were able to escape the forest in the end.
And disregarding that, everypony went into the forest one to three times and came back.
Now, I need to go make some cupcakes...
Has anypony seen Dashie?
It Wasn't so Bad Because It's Broad Daylight Over Here.
ReplyDeleteBut Still...
*Shivers*
Oh Celestia it's genius! Got all the 3 endings! Of course some might say that this extra condition for the blank flanks ending is a bit too much, but I think it adds more depth and interactivity to the game! Good job with throwing SO MANY REFERENCES and still make it work well (in a scary way).
ReplyDeleteHint: Changing the pc clock works, you don't even have to refresh the game
AWESOME!! :D
ReplyDeleteWhat I hated about that Blank Flank ending was basically Luna begging you to stay with her so she didn't die alone.
ReplyDeleteI felt really guilty walking off and leaving her there.
@drakethedragon
ReplyDeleteYeaaaah, I kinda placed some guilt into a player's heart in that ending. You don't go anywhere by just staying there, but at least you stay alive... until you move forward into the darkness. It's fairly dark/sad/creepy, but it's what I was going for.
WHY WAS THIS WHOLE THREAD GOING NUTS TO GET TO THAT??? Well, curiosity got the best of us, including me. Unfortunately, curiosity then proceeded to terrorize us all for nights to come.
ReplyDeleteI just got the "blank flank" ending, it was predictable, but it was still creppy too, just one advice: take the last zecoras's advice seriously.
ReplyDelete@Samson Serif
ReplyDeleteI could have thought of something a lot worse to put into that, but I've already terrorized at least one little girl's dreams with what I had alone... ;_; (why would someone so young even play during that time? And accidentally stumble across it? @_@)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8su5CGI8S4o
ReplyDeletesecret ending :3
I am not sleeping, EVER. That ending was not worth thee 30 minutes trying to figure it out.
ReplyDeleteCute little game, and I loved the blank flank ending. Probably the best put together out of three.
ReplyDeleteDear God-- even with the sound off this is scary as f***.
ReplyDeleteWow, the bad ending is a lot harder to get than the good one, this is just like Mass Effect 2.
ReplyDeleteAlright... I really need to stop literally giving my friend nightmares. @_@;
ReplyDeleteIt's totally unrelated to the game... but he keeps having a Cupcakes nightmare. And all I have been doing is help fuel it with images, or by reading all the other alt-endings/side stories/sequels to it. I guess watching Pinkamena's blog doesn't help much (even though we both find it entertaining). or getting him to sing along to "Something Broke" (we really like the song) while staring at Pinkamina giving that death glare from that blog that basically says "You're number has been picked! We're gonna have fun tonight!"
So... is there any cure for him? or maybe he'll live out his nightmares... or Pinkamina will get bored of him, and move on to finally picking a different number? Has anyone else have had a Cupcakes nightmare? Kinda curious.
Damn. I got to that bad ending, and it's totally nasty and sad. Great work never the less... but yeah, that's gonna stick in my mind for a bit x_x It's worst when you think that theoretically, whatever ending you choose, Luna is still there and gets gibbed to bits =(
ReplyDeleteSo I got this "blanks" ending, the normal dragon (warrior) ending... anypony know how to get the third one, please?
@MirceaKitsune
ReplyDeleteWow, you missed the "Muffin" ending?
-Go talk to applejack
-Make Muffin with ingredients from Applebuck Season (all right options)
-Give to Derpy
And no, the Blank Flank ending is not cannon to the story at all; it's just a very sadistic easter egg that I cleverly threw in.
Super Filly Adventure commentary released!
ReplyDeletePart 1 (first 2 endings):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUFDoKFYHBU
Part 2 (blank flank ending):

I recommend playing the game first, of course.
OMG...I know it's old but...I got the blank flank ending...WHY LUNA, WHY? This...this was...well, see for yourselves...O.O
ReplyDeleteHeard about this from TV Tropes, watched a video on how to get the Blank Flank ending, saw what to expect, and I STILL jumped a little when I tried it for myself.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it surprised me that Jade cursed when she was stuck in the forest... and poor Luna... and the Bloody Hooves were freaky and reminded me of the ponies from Story of the Blanks,
Wow...
ReplyDeleteJust wow...
That ending creeped me out SO MUCH.
[SPOILER ALERT!!!]
I can't believe Luna died...
and Jade...
and Twilight...
and those Blood Hooves things were as creepy as HELL. (Literally)

1 - Make sure the system time is between 1am and 5:59am. Some people say 11pm - 5:59am works too.
ReplyDelete2 - Go to Pinkie Pie first and talk to her, before talking to anyone else.
3 - Now talk to everyone else except AppleJack (including Zecora and Derpy). Make sure the dialogues end up looping for all ponies.
4 - Talk to AJ as well, and bake a good muffin (choose the options to the left for all 4 ingredients).
5 - Go to Derpy and give him the muffin.
6 - Go to the far right where Zecora is. It's now night in that area, and Z has red eyes. Go talk to her, and from there on... yeah :/
