John Patrick Lowrie (The voice guy for TF2's Sniper) did this live Letter to Celestia reading at MAGFest. TF2 fans will probably find something to enjoy here! Check it out after the break.

@Sunset Yes, they had to end up removing a swollen part of his brain so he has some nerve problems now, but around eleven months rehabilitation should help with it a little

And hey, John is married to Ellen McLain, the voice of the Administrator (TF2) and GLaDOS (Portal), who are often compared to Princess Celestia in fan crossover works.
I dunno, all I ever hear when I listen to these voice actors (and by these, I mean pretty much only Lowrie and... whoever voices Duke Nukem, I forget) read brony messages is just hollowness. They have no idea what any of this is about, or if they do, they're not actually interested, they're just doing simple fan service. And that kind of makes me feel a little more sad than if they had just not read them.
I just might have to break out my copy of TF2 and start playing Sniper again now. That was awesome beyond belief. I never would have expected that to happen, not for a second.
I cracked up laughing at this - kept the nice bit of sarcastic cynicism I love about the sniper, well voiced if not a bit unintelligible, and of course there's the crossover. Even if he had no idea what he was really saying, it's damn awesome that he did it for the fans. Love it when VAs do that.
@Jebediah Oldenheimer Just because they don't seem interested in the show doesn't necessarily mean it's by choice. Professionals in their line of work usually keep pretty busy with their careers, so they wouldn't have a whole lot of spare time for checking out or becoming fans of other entertainment they're not professionally involved in.
Being a brony is a luxury not everyone can afford!
That was a lot of fun, but I still don't wanna go for TF2. I tried it for three hours, and I got my ass handed to me so many times I felt really guilty. I love Valve, but TF2 is impossible for me ^_^;
Whether or not the voice actor here is particularly sincere or simply providing us with a gratefully received tid bit of satisfaction, we can all agree that the guy at the end is definetly a brony.
