And that brings back up a thought I have had regarding entertainment for a long time. How to stop the decay of overall quality vs the ever improving graphics and special effects? As there are more older games and movies I can replay/rewatch for the who knows which time, compared to the very rare newer ones that I can still enjoy after the 2nd or 3rd time.

...just make the eyes more lively. Although that might be hard, as there probably are no built-in scripts for moving eyes in horses (I don't have Skyrim, so I wouldn't know anyway).

Anyway, I think they're a little too big as well as I would need to mod them invincible because I could not handle them dying on me. The horses are pretty squishy in Skyrim.

This is still incredibly jarring with the Skyrim world. I guess there are two alternatives. We could make the pony horses a little smaller, slightly realistify the models and textures, and change the riding animation to match...or we could modify every single model, texture, audio and particle effect in the game so that Skyrim becomes Equestria! No biggie, right guys? Let's get right on that.
Ill be the one of those that will make pony mods for Skyrim when CK is out.

@Naezo It will definitely be possible with the creation engine. In Oblivion entire continents and storylines were added with it's creation engine, and I can't imagine this one being any more limited.
I still want to be able to play a pony though, I hope that's something we get, even if they have to be slightly anthro-ed.

It's a good thing that it's only a video game, since the rider hasn't got a prayer of seeing where the heck he's going around that FREAKIN' HUGE BULBOUS HEAD!
I couldn't use this mod. Horses are practically useless in Skyrim. They maneuver like tanks. You can't talk to anyone while riding. You can't gather ingredients while riding. You can't fight while riding. When attacked, your horse takes heavy damage while you stop and dismount. Once you do, horses run away when an enemy is nearby. Enemies put them at the same threat level as you, and have a tendency to get killed a lot.
And consider this: Once you get your precious Rainbow Dash mount killed - which you will - you then have the ability to loot her corpse, take some of her flesh, cook it, and then eat it.
It's bucking "Cupcakes" in Skyrim.

@Alicentaur Brony They need the official creation kit to come out, then one brave modder to dive into the skyrim/xbox systemcode and crack it. God bless the poor soul tasked with that crappy job.
I... Will just wait untill a better, more skyrim-fitting version comes out that uses original models instead of the Gmod pack ripoffs, and looks like something that might (mostly) fit in with skyrim rather than looking like a cartoony (and perhaps rather creepy) fish-out-of-water that this mod currently.
Which I hope to Celestia someone does.
