ReplyDeletePrediction: Spike pony-naps Rarity King Kong style.
ReplyDeleteHow dare you take the cake.
ReplyDeleteWell, there's your King Kong reference.
ReplyDeleteoh sweet mother of celestia
ReplyDeleteOMG, are we getting a King Kong moment?
ReplyDeleteKing King reference
ReplyDeleteLol everyone anticipated a Godzilla shoutout, only for it to be king Kong XD
ReplyDeleteWhy the Hell was Twilight given a dragon if they are so dangerous?
ReplyDeleteLol How dare you take the cake!
ReplyDeleteOh Pinkie Pie
Wow, it's like Studio B carefully studied all of the older Spike fanart and said "Pfft, screw all of them, THIS HOW HE LOOKS."
ReplyDeleteAwesome so far
ReplyDeleteOnly Rarity's love can stop him now!
ReplyDeleteWow, a King Kong reference. This show increases in epicness as fast as Spike's growth.
ReplyDeleteAlso, request for Fluttershy dancing with squirrels. It must be done. IT MUST!
Why would I not want to eat playdough?
ReplyDeleteObligatory King Kong reference, check.
ReplyDeleteAHHHHH OMG this is already a great episode! I love Pinkie Pie!
ReplyDeleteI'M ASSAULTING HIM WITH CAKE!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteQuick! Pinkie! Grab the Party Canon1!!
SPIKEZILLAAAAA!!!!!
ReplyDeletePotential King Kong reference? That scene before the break was reminiscent.
ReplyDeleteWhile Pinkie Pie was looking, Spike stole 40 cakes.
ReplyDeleteTHAT'S AS MUCH AS FOUR 10s. And that's just terrible.
"I'm assaulting him with cake!"
ReplyDeleteOnly Pinkie Pie would turn cake into a weapon.
Only Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie makes the funniest faces. xD
ReplyDeleteWha- I just fast-forwarded and it went back!
ReplyDeleteYeah, 'It takes a village' has been crushed. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think Twilight would have READ a book about dragons before now...
ReplyDeleteThis def my fav episode now. Sorry RD, may the best pet win just got out done
ReplyDeleteSirens?!! I smell Silent Hill!!!
ReplyDeleteThis episode is certainly taking the cake. It's hilarious also tornado sirens, Godzilla and King Kong altogether.
ReplyDeleteAnother straight hair Rarity...
ReplyDeleteDash and Fluttershy... lmao
ReplyDeleteThe Wonderbolts!
ReplyDeleteAnd now wonderbolts! Epic!
ReplyDeleteyeah! wonderbolts save the freakin day!
ReplyDeleteomg, wonderbolts= planes
ReplyDeleteCALLED IT
ReplyDeleteWonderbolts return
ReplyDeleteking kong?
ReplyDeleteSo...the Wonderbolts are the Equestrian Air Force? My mind is blown.
ReplyDeleteHow is Rarity's hair so fabulous now?
ReplyDeleteSpike pwned them. lol
ReplyDeleteAnd haha, Spike mocking Rarity.
The princess's aerial hostage negotiation team failed!
ReplyDeleteWonderbolts out of bucking nowhere!
ReplyDeleteAnd...what's this? The mountain cave from Dragonshy? Continuity? In my ponies?
I love you, Studio B.
Omg, FlutterDash.
ReplyDeleteSHE KNOWS!!!
ReplyDeleteD'awwwww... Spike professing his love for Rarity. She knows. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis Episode is FULL OF WIN!!!
ReplyDeleteSpike's crush revealed!
ReplyDeleteomg rarity
ReplyDeletecrying
njhdbjhm bjhbhb
my heart just exploded
FlutterDash, and Rarity x Spike
ReplyDeleteoh god, spike and rarity brought tears to my eyes and made me DAWWW out looud
ReplyDeleteMmh...
ReplyDeleteA new background pony named : June Bug (Junebug), according to what the chats heard.
-Apparently, being overly greedy can cause an abnormal reaction of growth and becoming more Evil, for dragons ?
-Also... King Kong reference, with Spike-Rarity. Going up to the Wonderbolts instead of the planes.
-...and Spike's love for Rarity cures is 'greed-rampage'. :3
Rarity KNOWS Spike has a crush on her !
DAMMIT ARE YOU SERIOUS? THE ENDING IS TOO PREDICTABLE.
ReplyDeleteA good Spike episode HAX!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD. DO WANT CAPED PONIES.
ReplyDeleteLmao. He framed the kiss on his cheek... wat? XD
ReplyDeleteVote Discord and Pinkie!
ReplyDelete*claps*
ReplyDeleteFirst person Rarity kiss.
ReplyDeleteSomepony do something. RD: Im on it*grabs Fluttershy. I died, i know its not, but omg let me think it for now.
ReplyDelete...
ReplyDeleteWell that's left me with warm and fluffy feelings.
d'aaaaaaaaaw
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite ep.
Brace yourselves... The shipping is coming.
ReplyDeleteCalled it, the fire ruby definitely did it.
ReplyDeleteawesome episode we got there! :3
ReplyDeleteGreat episode, Rarity knowing spike has a crush is now canon.
ReplyDeleteMust vote for MLP characters on Naughty or Nice!
ReplyDeletePretty good episode, but I think that out of all things that this episode gave us, cannon adult spike.
ReplyDeleteWonderbolts confirmed for military unit.
ReplyDeleteRarity reconfirmed for best pony.
Spike confirmed for real dragon.
Doctors confirmed for hilarious.
BEST EPISODE EVER!
Dem Capes at the end, especially Fluttershys <3
ReplyDeletewow, of course everyones like OMG FLUTTERDASH because they had to work together.
ReplyDelete@getoman10
ReplyDeleteEnding are always predictable in a children's show, and a good show isnt about the ending, its about how you got to the ending that matters.
Te ending was sorta predictable... but I still enjoyed the episode. Had a couple new named background ponies for the rapid fans to do various things with. Some probably scary. lol
ReplyDeletewell, now rarity knows! good episode! i wonder what will happen between those two now...
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode is awesome. So much lols...
ReplyDelete@Phoenix Quill
ReplyDeleteSpike looked cool as an adult
Rainbow Dash has a Kamina cape at the end I think.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great episode!
ReplyDeleteHA! Trevor was inb4 Capes became popular! TAKE THAT! *Does a victory dance*
ReplyDelete~ Minstrel of Equestria
Well, spike is NOT a real dragon. He is a wingless dragon.
ReplyDeletegosh them doctors were just useless...
ReplyDeleteSpoiler:
ReplyDeletethat episode was awesome
Spiarity is now CANON.
ReplyDeleteLet me just make sure...
ReplyDeleteYes, tears. Well done episode. Rarity puts a hoof on Spike's mouth, and I start weeping like a baby.
That was the best Spike episode yet. Far better than "Owls Well that Ends Well", and it is also a great Rarity episode. Lots of fun, great refferences, expect a review coming from me by tomorrow after I watched this episode a few more times.
By the way, M.A. Larson! If you are reading this, read carefully: YOU ARE THE BEST WRITER OF THE SHOW! Keep up the good work man!
@Nova25
ReplyDeleteForgot something :
-As Spike says at the begining... apparently you can ''age'' gemstones in this world.
This makes the 'growing gems in rock farms' theory... Possible !
Highlights for me:
ReplyDelete-Wonderbolts to the rescue
-Rarity interrupting Spike's confession (she must have already known)
-Godzilla references
-Zecora appearance
And probably some other stuff, I'll have to go back and watch it again. But those really jumped out at me.
So many new characters...
ReplyDelete<3 that episode awesome seeing first person spike O_O
ReplyDelete@Flutterlove
ReplyDeleteConsidering the Wonderbolts are based on the Blue Angels, and the Blue Angels are a naval squadron, it makes sense really.
Dat Episode... just... wow... bravo.
ReplyDeleteI was stunned how far they pushed Rarity-Spike. I had always assumed they would just keep it as a gag, never expected anything so heartfelt.
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent lesson, a really great one since all the holidays are coming up. Congratulations everyone who worked on this, you made another great episode. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSpike's memory was actually from his own point of view. 8o You never see that in TV shows or movies. I didn't think I could appreciate the creators of the show more, but that is absolutely brilliant.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode, lots of references =D
ReplyDeleteanyway that doctor reminds me someone....
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure what to expect from this episode, but definitely awesome.
ReplyDelete@Tyranoman
ReplyDeleteTechnically fluttershy is wearing a cloak. Which is expected of a shy pony.
As soon as Spike's generous act was done, I knew right there and then this episode would have Spike and Rarity written all over it.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, the best ending I've seen in season 2.
So if thats the only way Dragons can grow, does that mean Spike will always be an infant...?
ReplyDeleteI'm a tad disappointed that Spike did not sprout dragon wings as he grew.
ReplyDeleteOH MY CELESTIA!!! My life has been fulfilled...
ReplyDelete"Rarity, I want you to know something if we don't make it. I've always had a crush on-"
"I know, Spike. I know."
D'aaawwww!!!
@Michos
ReplyDeleteThere are earth dragons and sea dragons like steven magnet
Yeeeeeeeeesssssssssss!
ReplyDeleteThat was was actually my literal reaction at the end of the episode.
Rarity's love for Spike is now official. That was also probably the gushiest I had ever seen her.
Lickety Split is now a dude. She'll be so proud.
Was an alright episode, it had it's moments, but with an act like Sweet Elite to follow, what do you expect? It was still a solid episode.
ReplyDeleteThat was a good episode. It demanded Twilight and everypony to have the idiot ball regarding dragons. I have a hard time believing that nopony would know about dragons.
ReplyDeleteStill, it might be that Spike is the first dragon EVER raised by other sentients in ponyville. Spike might be Celestia's first attempt to study dragons to better understand them.
I am smelling tons of dragon fics in the future...
As usual, the episode was awesome. Thank you once again production team for making such an awesome show. And it looks like Rarity pretty much knows Spike has a crush on her now. Also, some artist pony needs to combine the moustache, manly Spike and pimp hat.
ReplyDelete-Confirmed canon crushes.
ReplyDelete-Wonderbolts now military.
-Capes are also the new socks.
besides sisterhooves social, that was the sweetest episode yet.
ReplyDeleteRarity is my favorite pony, so I don't mind her being the star of almost every episode :D
Why does everyone hate predictable episode endings in a children's show. Its for kids, it needs to be easy enough for them to understand.
ReplyDelete@Harwick
ReplyDeleteYour theory on Dragon Eggs is actually something that was used in "Dangerous Business Going Out Your Door" and "A Day For Spike and Twilight."
I really don't think Twilight was meant to hatch that egg, just get a reaction out of it.
Anyway, this episode was awesome. For some reason, the "Understanding Medieval Equestria" bit just sticks out in my mind.
Always feels good when a new episode leaves me new material to bank on.
Dude this episode deliervered.
ReplyDeleteWhen Spike jacked Z's house while she was explaining things to Twi I bet my neighboors in the house next door could hear me laughing.
Very good episode with lots of characters. The Godzilla scene was great, especially the Wonderbolts apperance. And we got more ponies, including a doctor pony.
ReplyDeleteThe only sad thing is that Spike will either stay a child forever or grows up and becames a typically greedy dragon.
That had to be the deepest episode yet
ReplyDelete10/10!!!
and the ending with rarity and spike falling was so sad
I hope somepony does a spirited away video
Bawwwwww WHY DID RARITY STOP SPIKE FROM CONFESSING!?
ReplyDeleteSo much love right thar ;w; As a corny lover, that was an amazing ending. Poor lil fella, I bet he felt horrible when he saw all the wreckage he made.
And Rarity's position with Spike... I wonder. I mean he's just a baby and all, and I'm sure she realizes... BLUH
Did anyone else notice the discontinuity from when Spike first gave Rarity the gem and during the flashback? It was originally upside-down, but in Spike's flashback it was heart-shaped.
ReplyDeleteOh, you guys. They aren't going to ship Rarity and Spike in the show from here on out. All it does is say Rarity already knew. Which isn't much of a stretch since Spike is rather obvious at times. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis episode was fan-freaking-tastic. The pacing, the comedy, the action, the emotion and the resolution. All of it and then some made for one excellent episode. Perhaps the best of season 2 I think.
ReplyDelete@Greenf0x
ReplyDeletePerhaps your right, in that case they had some pretty funny scenes.
Brilliant episode, laughed a lot through it :D
ReplyDeleteDragon destroys a town, send in aerial acrobats instead of royal guards... I guess the wonderbolts must be the Equestrian air force as well.
ReplyDeletestill it was a good episode plus no one pressed any charges against spike after him causing all that collateral damage and endangering peoples/ponies lives...
D'awwed at the end of that one. Could totally see the King kong thing coming but they played it out quite well in my opinion :D Another great episode. Not quite the winsplosion of last week's episode (That song especially). But still enjoyable nonetheless.
ReplyDeletePerhaps It's a survival thing that Dragons grow at a ridiculously quick pace when they become hoarders. Their natural growth rate is incredibly slow so they kind of start hoarding and it triggers some kind of magic growth hormone thing that makes them huge in a short amount of time?
What do you do if you have a cute attack? What's the best treatment? BECAUSE IT JUST HAPPENED TO ME.
ReplyDeleteDAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Time to roll out the Canon Cannon!
ReplyDelete@Yonasomun
ReplyDeleteDepends....I don't think its explicitly stated that they ONLY grow via greed/hording.
He can probably grow slowly and not be crazy like the only two other adult dragoons we've seen thus far.
And even then the red one was responsive to fluttershy so I bet all adult dragons aren't THAT bad. ;p
@Sunny Reins
ReplyDeleteReally?... That only makes that flashback all the more potent. Wow, just wow, Studio B
So does this mean real adult Spike won't have wings?
ReplyDeleteBrace yourselves, gentleman...
ReplyDeleteIncoming shipstorm.
Anyone else care to notice that Pinkie Teleported in instead of Spike? Does that mean she's confirmed to have Spatial powers?
ReplyDeleteObvious ending was obvious, but yay for shared feelings. Bring on the rarity x spike ships, maybe I'll write one
ReplyDeleteKinda wanted to see a episode exploring Twilight and Spike's relationship but this was great too.
ReplyDelete@a01421
ReplyDeleteI think Ponyville gets destroyed every couple of episode so everyone in Ponyville gets one mulligan for wrecking the town.
Saw spike retrieve pimp hat, fought back the lol (parents in room next door sleeping)
ReplyDeleteHasbro forgot to put wings on him.
ReplyDelete@SecretBrony
ReplyDelete'INAHLE' yay!
@Δ-zεrɸ
ReplyDeleteShe can already break the fourth wall..
Now she learned how to teleport without magic
=o
(Repeat 1.of.1)
ReplyDelete-A new background pony named : June Bug (Junebug), according to what the chats heard.
-Apparently, being overly greedy can cause an abnormal reaction of growth and becoming more Evil, for dragons ?
-Also... King Kong reference, with Spike-Rarity. Going up to the Wonderbolts instead of the planes (I ''guess'' they can be commissioned into service, during *Emergencies-only* ?).
-...and Spike's love for Rarity cures is 'greed-rampage'. :3
Rarity KNOWS Spike has a crush on her !
-As Spike says at the begining... apparently you can ''age'' gemstones in this world.
This makes the 'growing gems in rock farms' theory... Possible !
I love Rarity - she's truly Best Pony.
ReplyDeleteOther than myself. ...And maybe Luna!
@Al_Skylark
ReplyDeleteWell the ponies have never said anything against interspecies relationships or pedophilia... so maybe there's no issue with Rarity being with Spike in the magical land of Equestria
@Hato F
ReplyDeleteWhy cant there be Earth Dragons, there are Seas Dragons in this world, why no Earth Dragons, not all dragons have to have wings.
Spikey wikeeeey!<333
ReplyDeleteSparity
its like canon now
Spike x Rarity canon?
ReplyDeleteAlso Lickety Split is a name of a G1 pony, but no one here cares about G1.
I'm guessing we'll be seeing those capes again in the Christmas / future episode? They did look sort of Winter-y, and the whole "Suited for Success"-attire-continuity...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, that was great! Loved the King Kong reference.
But, Spike turned back to normal in the end. Is that to say all full-grown dragons in Equestria are only that way because of their horde? What's up with that? Magic? Some dragon curse? How can a dragon age normally if they usually don't have a group of ponies to steer them back into upstanding citizens?
Obligatory Derpy appearance, popping up out of a rain barrel.
ReplyDeleteadorable episode :3
ReplyDeleteDid Cheerilee sound different?
ReplyDeletePoor Spike. Torn between his friends and his draconic nature. And of course, once again Trollestia.
ReplyDeleteStudio B did an awesome job on this one!
What I got from this episode:
ReplyDelete1) Spike is best pony
2) Pinkie Pie is best unicorn
3) Fluttershy in a hooded dress/robe/thing is epic
4) Background ponies!!!
Lyra, Bon-Bon, AND Derpy, all at once??
ReplyDelete@Pinkavia
ReplyDeleteYeah, soon seeing her actually perform feats without magic will be canon. I.e. You see her teleport first hand.
@waterfairy456
ReplyDeleteyou watch or read something to counteract the D'awwbetes... oooor look for some Winsulin?
(These puns are horrible yes, But I'm operating on like no sleep here and can't think of anything better 8D)
Was kinda hoping for Spike to get a cane (or for Rarity to make him a cape) along with that hat, honestly. Kramer's pimp getup (from Seinfeld) was what I wanted to see, heh.
ReplyDeleteThis ep was pretty good, or great, actually.
Lyra, Bon-Bon, AND Derpy all at once? What an episode.
ReplyDeleteWell that was INCREDIBLY weird
ReplyDeleteI'm not spoiling anything of course but I shed a manly tear. A+ episode.
ReplyDeleteStop saying the ending was too predictable, it wasn't the ending but the hilarious way they got to it :P I mean Sonic Rainboom had a super-predictable ending from the moment Twilight told Rarity that her wings were fragile, but it didn't make it less awesome.
ReplyDeletei can already picture everypody goin ape shit over new backround ponies/rarity says "MAGNIFICENT!!!!"
ReplyDeleteHey guys, listen to the background music starting a bit before Twilight tries to clean Spike's face. I know that's a famous classical piece (part of a symphony from Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, or someone on that level), but I don't remember exactly what it is.
ReplyDelete@XyroTR1
ReplyDeleteSorry that you were incapacitated last week Xtro, glad to hear you're doing well today, hope you're migraine free all day.
@80and56
ReplyDeleteI duno, it kinda felt shorter than expected.
First it was all "Wooh, Spike ep" then it ended
Well, Back to the poniponiponi Server of TF2 on Steam. D3ltaZ3r0 is my name if you guys care enough to add me.
ReplyDeleteOk, so let me insert my two cents:
ReplyDeleteI really liked this episode.
The hat Cheerilee gave Spike reminds me of Sniper's hat from Team Fortress 2 because of the way one of the sides curls up. I am now satisfied.
There's two new background ponies, one is Junebug and the other is the brown colt bouncing the ball. He's the mysterious Epona pony we've seen in the crowds, I would think.
King Kong reference (though I call it Godzilla, lol) The Wonderbolts were planes (poor guys were trapped in a tank). I called it right as Spike grabbed Rarity.
Spike confessing his crush and Rarity understanding was so heartwarming.
Also, they talked about death. "...if we don't make it."
This episode is ranked... 3rd out of the 10 that has already aired for Season 2. It's beaten by Sweet and Elite and Luna Eclipsed.
Ok, now you have my two cents.
Great episosde! And lol at derpy sighting.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one *not* surprised to see the Wonderbolts used as "the planes" for that King Kong reference scene? I always figured they were a special part of Equestria's Pegasus airforce. Afterall:
ReplyDeleteWonderbolts = Blue Angels and Blue Angels = Navy/Military!
The Pinkie Pie balloon scene.
ReplyDeleteYou know the one. Third on-screen burst for the entire series. First time seeing a non-backgrounder non-episode-specific character (Gilda/dragon/Pokey) show up in a scene where a balloon actually bursts. It also throws out my old theory that in Equestria, good ponies are incapable of breaking balloons because MAGIC. (Unless it's implying that Pinkie is no longer a "good" pony. With the whole Element of Harmony thing brought back early on though, can't swallow that suggestion.)
(Though looking at the previous episode, I still haven't figured out what Rainbow did with that balloon she was holding between shots. She didn't put it on the ground (It would have been visible) nor did she pop it (it would have been heard) so I'm going to chalk that up as show-topic irrelevancy, similar to how the layout of Ponyville is shifting near constantly in order to add new scene settings.)
I can never say anything negative about Pinkie or Season 2 again. Even if she isn't my bestpony anymore. Now to wait around for downloads so I can make a video looping that scene for 30 minutes. Or a Gif. Whichever.
Anyway. I'm going to need at least another dozen watches of the episode to decide if it's my favorite over Cutie Pox, but darned if it didn't just go into my top 2 for season 2 and top 5 for the whole series. I was legitimately concerned for the outcome of the episode, and actually had a few moments of emotional connection where I actually felt genuinely sad or happy for the action going on on screen, rather than just taking it as another thing for me to have to laugh at. I am pleased.
That was a great episode. When Spike began confesing his love for Rarity, I was expecting her to say "I know" a la Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back.
ReplyDeleteJunebug!
ReplyDeleteSpike stole everything and the kitchen sink this episode. It was honestly a nice episode, predictable endings don't make things bad. Classic storytelling there.
ReplyDeleteAlso someone get a pic of Rarity biting her hoof and caption it with 'tastes like scootaloo'.
Someone will also need a pic of Applejack and Twilight with a caption stating 'tying the knot'.
Last thing someone get a caption of Rainbow Dash grabbing Fluttershy with the caption 'I've got a pony and I'm not afraid to use her'. Um... actually scratch that last one it can be taken wrong.
Vet Pony: Pet Smarts (Petunia Smarts, goes by "Pet")
ReplyDeleteDoctor Pony: Doc Holiday
@DespondentYeah I know! But I believe if Rarity does know, (which obviously she does) and she correspond his feelings, I think she rather wait for him to grow up a little more.
ReplyDeleteIn my head that's why I think she stopped him. 'Cause right now she can't be with him.
Oh gosh, here I am discussing pony love~
You americans are always complaining about how its on at an inconvenient time, in the UK I can bearly find an episode after episode 2 on UK television. THANK CELESTIA FOR YOUTUBE is all i can say.
ReplyDeleteWOW.
ReplyDeleteSo much to say. SO many great moments that I'm not going to list here. Great episode overall, as usual.
Oddly enough though, what really stands out to me right now is Pinkie. Her personality in season 2 has been....completely off the wall to put it lightly. She sorta acts different than she did in season 1 (not that that's a bad thing). Wish I could put it into words better...but yeah. Maybe I'll think of a better way to say it later...
Oh, and Derpy, Lyra, and BonBon. That is all.
Twilight's book sorting plus the music with it reminded me of Merlin in The Sword in the Stone.
ReplyDeleteTwilight teleporting Spike as he tried to run away, then Pinkie out of nowhere was fricken hilarious.
Does this mean the Wonderbolts aren't just showponies?
Regarding the Wonderbolts: I assume they are primarily the Equestrian Royal Airforce, but we only see them doing Flight Shows since there isn't much war in Equestria; not very surprising considering that Equestria is ruled by Sun / Moon raising Goddesses: attack Equestria, enjoy your everlasting night and floods...
ReplyDeleteGetting carried away; tldr:
Wonderbolts = Airforce
Royal Guards = Either Infantry (Cavalry?) or not part of the Army, only used to protect the princesses and guard the castle
Maybe is spike a komodo dragon
ReplyDelete@Retl
ReplyDeleteAdd: So now my remaining question is if that was relevant enough to be shown. What meaning does it have overall? It must mean something or be there for a reason, otherwise it would have been omitted. I must know the reason.
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=232055993529225&set=a.232055933529231.50322.100001744770994&type=3&theater#
ReplyDeleteI found Derpy!!!
Here is my take on dragon canon:
ReplyDeleteIt was never outright stated this is the ONLY way dragons grow. Spike is the first civilised dragon amongst ponies that we know of. I think that surges of greed will accelerate growth and promote irrational behaviour, but it doesn't mean a non-greedy dragon will stay youthful forever.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletewell, it looks like rarity/spike= <3 is now official. well, in my opinion, rarity's reaaction in todays episode did look kinda like that. anyone agrees?
ReplyDeleteMan, just when I thought this episode couldn't get any better: Lyra and Bon-Bon. AND DERPY. ALL AT ONCE.
ReplyDeleteAnd Spike/Rarity falling made me d'awww so many times.
I know this is just a stupid fantheory and I should ignore the urge to post it... but it just makes too much sense to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat if, by unnaturally speeding his growth through gluttony, Spike's wings don't get a chance to form? And that only by allowing himself to mature naturally with age would he retain his intelligence (and grow wings) at adulthood.
Otherwise, Spike would be one nasty teenager, and he'd never improve.
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteConfessing
Oh yeah, there's the cake war thing ("Cake Wars" or something like that is a TV show btw)
ReplyDeleteCake is a lie.
@UKBRONYLEADER
ReplyDeletewell, at least the streams of the American episodes are at quite a convenient time for us Europeans ^^
@MudPuppy
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could chalk that one question/issue up to the fact that there hasn't been a Pinkie-centric ep in so long. That's just my thoughts on that, though.
"Get away from her, you brute!"
ReplyDeletePlease tell me that was an Alien reference.
No one caught on what Spike said at the begining ?
ReplyDeleteApparently you can ''age'' gemstones in this world.
This makes the 'growing gems in rock farms' theory... Possible !
Twilight probably teleported Pinkie in from elsewhere. Twilight possessing this inverse of her power actually has scary implications.
ReplyDeleteAlso, maybe there are different types of dragons. Winged and wingless, kind of like eastern/western dragons.
ReplyDeleteRarity touches her hoof to my quivering lip and whispers "I know..."
ReplyDeleteOh right, almost forgot: Spike's PIMP HAT.
ReplyDelete@Lupus AlbusScorcerer's Apprentice.
ReplyDeleteIt pops up again when Twilight locks Spike in one of the library's rooms.
