You heard me right! It's after the break if you don't want to ruin the magic.
Thanks to PonyLeaks for the heads-up!

Pinkie Pie. Babysitting.
ReplyDelete...This should be good. *evil grin*
@Joe You'd know they WOULD end up cutting the song shorter and it's likely that part won't be played. Ever thought about that?
ReplyDelete@SuperGiantRobot True but revealing some aspect of the character that is not pertinent to the plot simply comes off as clunky exposition. Has there been a point in the series where it had been necessary to show that Mr. and Mrs. Cake had children? Or that their first names are Carrot and Cup respectively? No. This is similar to how people assumed that the main six were all orphans because we had not seen their parents yet.
ReplyDeleteTo those who are complaining that the episode will be a repeat of Stare Master I have this to say. How do you know it will be the same lesson as Stare Master? We have only a very short synopsis to go off of right now. Let's not have a repeat of what happened with Mare-Do-Well and Hearth's Warming where everyone was convinced they knew what the episode would be and then were upset when it was something completely different. Let's not jump to conclusions about what the episode will be about.
That being said I can imagine that Pinkie will have to learn that sometime you have to be the serious mature one or something like that.
Mrs. Cake: Oh no! Our babysitter canceled and we have to make this delivery tonight, what are we going to do?
Pinkie: I can babysit for you!
Mr. Cake: (reluctantly) OK, but taking care of babies is serious busness do you think you are up to it dear?
Pinkie: Don't worry it will be a piece of cake Mr. and Mrs. Cake. (Big Smile)
A second "Pinkie goes crazy n stuff" ep?
ReplyDeleteOk so we know for sure it's a pinkie episode.
ReplyDeleteThe other thing is that the leaked song will be in it (at the end of the song we could hear the children).
That episode is gonna be awesome!
I am also glad there is an ep on the 14th, i thought there won't be when there was no synopsis on saturday
So this is like Stare Master but with Pinkie Pie and Cake toddlers instead of Fluttershy and the CMC (and cocktrice?)

ReplyDeleteIt should be those Newborn cutie things, just to troll everyone.
I reckon the kids will be very young. Like looking somewhat like the baby in Mysterious Mare Do Well but slightly older.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I won't be satisfied unless one of the mane six gets peed on, even if off camera. ^.~

ReplyDeleteProcreation is now canon.
Eeyup... That's what Mrs Cake said!
Oh, Pinkie Pie episode?
ReplyDeleteExcuse me while I go have a party. A big one.
my body is ready
ReplyDeletePINKIE PIE POWERRRRRRRR
@Mr. Unsmiley
ReplyDelete*facehoof*
REALLY?
Sounds like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteFinally! A Pinkie Pie episode!
ReplyDeletePinkie babysitting....that is a recipe for disaster, if I've ever heard one. Methinks Pinkie will be needing to sing that Smile song to herself before this is over with.
ReplyDeleteOooooooh, not only do we get a Pinkie episode, but we learn some more about the Cakes! I like it!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea for an episode. I've always felt like Pinkie Pie is great with kids. She helped out Apple Bloom when she was trying to get her cutie mark and made a fun song for her about baking cupcakes. Even after AB burned them, Pinkie was nice enough to eat them and say "These are better than the last batch."
ReplyDeleteThen there's Nightmare Night when Pinkie Pie watched over the big group of kids and, of course, scared them, but it was all in the name of fun. The way she turned to Pip and said "Didn't we, Pip?" reminds me of those nice babysitters.
So the fact that these Cake twins are too much for her to handle makes me think they're either brats or TOO hyper (for Pinkie... somehow).
Sometimes Pinkie seems more generous to me than Applejack.
@SomeGuy
ReplyDeleteI still think it's unlikely to be their children, but that's all I'm saying on the matter. They're a sweet pair and all, I just have doubts as to whether they're the parents.
Like I said in a previous post however, let's just call it 50-50. I mean we can only really be right or wrong here and frankly I'm not bothered by either, just stating my belief is all.
@Steel Resolve
ReplyDeleteApples and oranges are both fruits that grow on trees.
The Cakes being related to the Pies is fair guess, since both are essensially pastries.

ReplyDeleteWait, the Cake's have kids ? Suddenly, Pinkie Pie living there makes sense (although, Pinkie isn't necessarily the best sitter if past actions are any indication)
ReplyDeleteProbably been said earlier, but this is my prediction: "Smile" is the song here.
ReplyDeleteI think it's likely that this is the episode that uses Smile Smile Smile, just seems befitting to the topic.
ReplyDeleteYay a new Pinkie Pie episode, and this one sounds like its gonna be hilarious
ReplyDeleteThe title will be "Baby Cakes" what a cute title ^.^ I'm so excited to see the episode!

ReplyDeleteSrsly? "I'm a poof"?
ReplyDeleteDoes Pinkie know what a "poof" also means?
*trololo*
Twenty minutes of Pinkie Pie... It's going to take me two hours to watch it once.
ReplyDeleteTo clarify: I don't have anything against Pinkie as a character, but her voice makes my ears hurt, and she's not a unique case, either. American accent + high voice = headache. Doubly-so if the recording environment adds a lot of reverberation.
Somebody tell me is it on the 14th because I checked and it said it was on sun unless I over looked it lol
ReplyDeleteMy predictions are that the filly are the opposite of pinkie pie. They're mean and they don't care about hapiness and then pinkie pie trys to teach them. I guess?
