Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo Invites Tara Strong
She has the best job ever. Twilight Sparkle one day, conventions everywhere the next.
For those heading over to the 2012 Comic and Entertainment Expo in Calgary, Tara Strong will be attending one of the panels. I'm sure more information will pop up as the event gets closer, but It's still pretty awesome news for those of you up in Canada.
It looks like shes playing a cheerleading, chainsaw wielding, zombie slayer too!
Equestria Girls hits 1,000,000 Views!
Over on the EQD Youtube Page, it looks like Equestria Girls broke the 1 million view mark. With 12,719 likes and 280 people that haven't yet embraced friendship.
I can't wait to see what else The Hub pulls off in the future for us!

The Trottingham.net forums are holding a new fan art contest with a pretty impressive award. If you are skilled in the ARTS, hit up the forum post about it here!
And a synopsis/copy paste below:
How do I enter?: We're a group centred around 6 teams (one team for each of the Mane 6) constantly doing battle with each other in various events. For this contest, simply choose 1 of the Mane 6 and make a propaganda poster for that Pony's "team" (Team Rainbow Dash, Team Pinkie Pie, etc..)

This place is really fun! They have ducks year round that you can feed corn to, as well as a small zoo and indoor exhibits! We can then go for pizza at Cranky Pats Pizza, which is a few miles down the road. But what will really be fun is bronies meeting up socializing!
Corn is $1 per bag, but the Sanctuary is FREE.

The Dungeons of Dredmor item was always named that, though I believe the "Smithing IS Magic" line was added in for the new patch.
Not surprising, the game seems to be on a quest to reference ALL the things.
I was looking forward to Lollipop Chainsaw but having Tara Strong play Juliet made it 20% cooler. I am so buying the minute it's available.

I remember watching the trailer for Lollipop Chainsaw a while back, but once again failed to realize that Tara Strong was Juliet's VA. Her range is ridiculous.
Already had thoughts of picking it up (becuase Suda 51 is a crazy bastard), but that definitely nudged it towards "have to have it" territory.
I like the idea of a wildlife sanctuary meetup. Seems like a really fun thing to do.

@Aspio, I know the feeling. Haven't seen any meetups in the Spokane area; closest ones would be Seattle/Portland/Calgary/Vancouver/Boise, at 300+ miles away for any of them.

That's a really small subtle pony plug in the Dungeons of Dreadmoor game. But hey, still cool. I think some games are realizing plugging a pony reference in some way is one way to net themselves a good couple thousand or so extra players. ;)

Well what do you know. I finally stayed up long enough to post in a nightly roundup. Last time that happened was last week. I'll chalk this up to pony-induced insomnia. But getting back on topic, plenty of good reads here as usual. Did the survey, realized I'm not so pathetic with crosswords as I thought, oggled at the merch, and lamented the fact that I'm nowhere near Wisconsin at the moment (in New York BTW.) OK, maybe now I can get some sleep.

Oh good, I've been keeping an eye on Lollipop Chainsaw for a while now.
So Tara Strong is staring in the new Suda 51 game. Every time she turns up in one of his games, she is doing something crazy. First she was a girl who could open barriers by cutting her wrists. Then she was spiting acid in a prison and later playing a goth assassin. Now she is a cheerleader cutting through zombies with the head of her boyfriend tied to her waist.
I seriously wonder about Suda 51 sometimes.

I don't think it's been mentioned but apparently Adam and Blair (sp?) were confirmed to be bronies on xplay by Morgan Webb during the xplay inbox portion of the program yesterday.
Don't know what it's worth, just thought I'd say.
