I think you're missing the whole point. Luna must feel terrible about the whole Nightmare Moon thing. You don't get over something like that overnight, or even in a year. After all, she was stewing up there in the moon for a thousand years. Maybe she's trying to understand sadness, hurt and fear because these are the building blocks of humility. If you don't know what it's like to suffer, you will never know compassion or friendship. Come to think of it, that could be why the Mane 6 have many emotional difficulties they try to make up for with their great gifts. Just sayin, it's a possibility. BTW PimP

One thing to keep in mind is that it was Nightmare Moon who attempted to take over Equestria and kill the main 6. Lauren Faust has said that, as Nightmare Moon, Luna was being influenced or even possessed by an evil entity; my opinion is that, while Luna is responsible for allowing her jealousy and resentment to fester until she allowed this entity to corrupt her, any actions that Nightmare Moon took were not her own, and she can't be judged as such.
And that, actually, is why I'm interested in Luna, and hopeful that the show will do her justice: she has done some terrible wrongs in her past, and now is seeking forgiveness and acceptance. Unless and until the writers decide to have Gilda or Trixie reform, Luna's the only character on the show like that, and so she can be used in storylines exploring the nature of forgiveness and redemption.
That, and she's got the third-best character design on the show, behind Fluttershy and Octavia. But that's a minor point, really...

He was a brilliant businessman and his products are now a part of many people's lives. However, I actually think it's better for him to have died relatively young. Now the world won't watch him grow old, and he will always be remembered as a computer genius loved by most of the world.
That being said I stay as far away from Apple products as possible, besides my iPod classic. They are, in my opinion, overpriced, underpowered, and really the only appeal of them is they're shiny and have a glowing logo of a fruit on the back.

I have no idea why I'm replying to this, but I figure I might as well.
1. I don't call myself a brony. I enjoy the show and that is all. I do write a fic, but only for practice.
2. The reason I don't care is because there's no point to the flash. It's Luna in a box. Great. I just don't understand why people are screaming "I'M COMING FOR YOU LUNA" or "WHY IS THIS SO SAD I'M DYING FROM ALL THESE TEARS".
I'm guessing it's all trolling, but I can't tell. There are better things to use your fleeting emotions on. Fictional, cartoon horses in fan made material is not one of them.
The video made me sad. Luna, you can live with me.
On a side note, I do hope the bronies out there don't get too upset when Luna's real personality is revealed in two weeks. It is true that much of her character is fan made right now, so if there is a huge difference between fanon and show, then I hope the backlash won't be horrible.

Honestly it's not an issue. First of all, there quite a few "Luna is a wacky prankster" fanfics and pictures out there. As for the "Luna is sad and lonely" fics and pics, it is a matter of observed fact that Luna has spent more than a year not showing for events that she should have been at. Spending one night being a wacky prankster doesn't mean that she didn't spend months being sad and lonely and it doesn't mean she won't be sad and lonely later as well. We are not going to see enough of Luna to dispel any particular image of her

Ah, that was you? I'm not an Apple Fanboy, so I ain't even mad.
He was a brilliant businessman and his products are now a part of many people's lives. However, I actually think it's better for him to have died relatively young. Now the world won't watch him grow old, and he will always be remembered as a computer genius loved by most of the world.
That being said I stay as far away from Apple products as possible, besides my iPod classic. They are, in my opinion, overpriced, underpowered, and really the only appeal of them is they're shiny and have a glowing logo of a fruit on the back.
