This is what I thought when Twilight was cut off saying "But why us? Why don't you-" I just like the idea of Celestia being a tyrannical, irresponsible leader. Funny b/c it goes against how she's supposed to be portrayed. She should send Discord to the MMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAA!

Well let's see it took TWO Alicorns (Celly&Luna duh) AND the Elements of Harmony before taking on Discord. Discord has the power to SHAPE REALITY TO SUIT HIS NEEDS so I say yes hands down Discord IS stronger then Celly

Saw that second comic earlier. But haha, I love this one. Silly lazy Celestia. She knows how to get things done... have others do them for you. ;) Also, the faces of the cast in the first panel are hilarious. RD, stop smoking that pipe and pay attention! :D

She cant help it if all she has to work with are cute and adorable little ponies. You go to war with the army you have. At least she's sending the unicorn with the most raw power she's ever seen, Equestria's best young flyer and arguably Ponyville's strongest and most dependable citizen. Admittedly, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy would be harder to justify on an elite task force to anyone who doesn't know them, but once you're immortalized in stained glass people will probably just go with it.
As soon as I got to the Fluttershy bit in the first one, That "Talk Dirty To The Animals" song popped into my head. I mean, she is in a cottage, alone, with a whole load of animals. If Twilight does it, then Fluttershy must do it every now and then.
(Though how they would do it in the first place is another question entirely)
At least the mentioned Luna.... For that entire scene in the hall I could just picture Luna standing way at the other end, waving and trying to get there attention, and Celestia just ignores her and thinks "Oh God, please don't come over here."
