It also gave me a weird sense of nostalgia - it reminded me of some of my favorite flash animations of old. It was random, WTF-y, purposely exploited some of Flash's flaws, but most importantly - hilarious.
So I clicked on the link not knowing what it was. And then I realized it was the guy who made "Professor Layton and the Malignant Growth" And it was awesome And... yeah... ON THE MOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAA

I found it funny that Celestia missed the moon every time she launched a pony at it. I'm sure Luna was able to fly away to safety, but those first two!... Okay, first one, the homeless pony I felt bad for. The idiot trying to institute political reform by telling the pony who has the power to control the sun, the moon, and apparently a really large cannon is NOT the pony you simply walk up to and say, "Excuse me, I don't think you should be in charge anymore." Pony #2 got what he deserved!
So Celestia has a cannon built into the floor of the courtroom. Well that convenient but I always thought that she would have loaded subjects into a trebuchet. She seems like that kind of person.
I don't care for that portrayal of Celestia very much at all, but I have to admit it was so ridiculous when set up like this that it was pretty funny. And so I must pardon it for comedic effect.
I would think it would be ridiculously difficult to try and stabilize yourself and fly off with the velocity of being launched from a freaking cannon :I
