A comic hasn't made me tear up in a loooong time. It's simply beautiful, proving that emotion can be expressed without words. (For some reason it reminds me of the beginning of the movie Up. You know, the whole "character starts off young with a dream, end up with a older version of the character reminiscing about the glory days.")
Dash has always been my favorite, ever since I was a skeptic watching the pilot. I love her personality, her attitude, and of course, her sense of loyalty. So, I might be a little biased because I love everything rainbow dash, but this was great. Bittersweet and full of emotion, it touched me. Love it.
I salute you, Rainbow Dash! Though you may not be my favorite pony, you will always and forever hold a special place in my heart... and on my computer screen.
I looked at the comic, it was sad, then in the description was that cursed song suggested to play along with reading it...well that just made me cry...
@Anonymous Well, the show is about 90% lighthearted. Then you have horror like Twilight in "Stare Master" and the various mental breakdowns (at least one per Mane Six in the first season). Yes, everything is fine by the end of the episode, but not EVERY episode is like the CMC episodes.
After seeing this, I've been thinking about what it is that I truly want to do / become and wether or not its too late. But thankfully i'm in my first year of college, I still have time.

ReplyDeletethis is beautiful. In almost every way.
Is it wrong that I expected this to end with a grown up Scootaloo looking at a gravestone with tears in her eyes?
