I think I might be the only brony in the world who doesn't really like Derpy being quite this... well, derpy. And I honestly think the muffin thing has gone too far. That's really a problem with the fandom, though, and the video did what it was intending to do well enough. I just don't like what it was trying to do.
Her Derpy voice is awesome, and her Fluttershy voice is pretty great too... and yeah, the Derpy and Dinky interaction just made my heart melt (I'll have to go have that looked at)
Personally, I prefer the intelligent-just-afflicted-with-strabismus-and-logorrhea version of derpy, but I like the voice you've given her. I enjoyed this.

Derpy having a mental disability CAN be done well (See Today, Tomorrow, and Forever (The part where she forces out a coherent sentance KILLS me... T_T) and Bubbles), but I do love the "Slightly-slow-but-still-somewhat-smart" Derpy/Dtitzy/Bright Eyes.

Derpy was clearly mouthing "Muffin" along with 3 other ponies) and dropping a bunch of stuff on Twilight. Just like it's a bit much to claim Derpy is an idiot, it's also a bit much to be claiming she's just some ordinairy pony. Unless Season 2 shows something besides "Where's Waldo: starring Derpy", her characterization is in the eye of the beholder with no right or wrong version.
As for the vid, I liked it, though the cutesiness isn't my thing when I think of Derpy.

If derpy could say things that don't really make sense without being ridiculously happy-go-lucky sounding, it would be better, in my opinion.
