The Mcdonald's ones are the only accurate toys so far - not sure if those are the "rare" ones or not, though.
As for the free shipping, Hasbro does not offer international shipping at all, same goes for most ebay sellers.
Pity, really.
Is it just that I'm behind and somehow missed learning this from somewhere else, or is Scootaloo actually Cheerilee's sister? It says so on the little description blurb for Cheerilee, but that seems like a dubious place to learn such a thing...

Oh, apparently that was from G3.5, after looking it up on the wiki. No idea if it still holds true or not, particularly with Cheerilee being an Earth Pony and Scoots being a Pegasus. Never miiiiind

IMO, the Gift Set is second only to the McDonalds figures in being true to model and as a few of you have pointed out, they have the Gift Set (on page one). The "so soft" Pinkie Pie looks a lot like the 'baby dinosaur' in the TV series Dinosaurs (the puppet one, the one where everyone dies a horrible freezing death in the end). "So soft" Pinkie Pie is fuggly. *Ew*
