    6. so I take it I should give my shipping fic a little shelf time before releasing it?

    7. Anonymous, in my submission I stated that I did not mean this as a personal attack on anyone or their tastes. But just look at the friend off, there were like 4 non shipping fics lol

    8. So Gilda broke into her house and drank her wine? That's the only thing that concerned me all fic, she needs an intervention.

    9. AND THEN THEY ALL FUCKED.

      Greatest ending ever.

    11. It's all in good fun. Easy to appreciate since it's a legitimate piece of satire and not a quickie "shippers should be set on fire" joke. Especially when a pun on sinking them would be far more delicious. *ahem*

No, what surprised me was Sethisto's "all the god damn shipping" line. I can't figure you out, Blogpony.

i have recorded it twice already, each time vocaroo shooting down my attempts at greatness with a quick "error connecting to server" message. I feel, betrayed. Like an old friend had suddenly gone and stabbed me in the back. It was horrible.

i will try and record it again tomorrow, but for now, it is 3:19 in the morning, and I need to sleep.

      SIDE NOTE:
      inb4 1 million hits.

Since I won't be awake for that, give Sethisto and all the blogger ponies my congratulations when that counter finally hits 7 digits.

    13. So, I've been sitting in the google doc and I've noticed a lot of people open it and then instantly close it... why? :S Is it too long? Too late at night? yeah, thats why!

I don't we'll hit 1mil until early morning maybe. I have to go to work at nine, so hopefully I'll see it. When you record tomorrow, record in audacity or something as you record so you won't lose it. Sleep tight.

    15. w-.....what?

"what is this I dont even"

    16. This... is one of the greatest works of satire in this fandom.

Skipping to the end would ruin the punchline, missing tons of plot relevant, slightly creepy sexually obsessive Fluttershy.

    17. You mean it doesn't anyway?

Nah, I kid. But, seriously. I was reading through this story, trying my hardest to hold a giggle in (since it was one in the morning.) Then boom, last line. Forget the giggle, I laughed hard.

    18. @Anonymous I save them for off-line reading in places that don't have internets.
Because, sadly, there are still places like that.

I used to worry I was bugging people with that. When I open it and immediately close it, it's usually because I'm doing a length check, or because I'm about to print it. (I print most of the fanfics I know I want to read at some point, but don't think I'll ever get to online since there's a huge amount of things I take care of online.)

But the fact that people have described a character as obsessive already has me interested. And the Random tag pretty much guarantees I'm going to make an effort to check it out.

Printiiiiing. I think I'll love this one too.

    20. I now ship that one beetle with that other beetle.
They're so in love, why can't THEY see it?

    23. Satire is so much more fun to write then blatantly saying something.

    24. Flutters lusting after Snails? I mad!

    25. Whatever the satire part was, it went over my head.
Regardless, I found this story quite enjoyable and rather human in feel. I found myself relating to it a great deal more than I have most of the other fanfics I've read so far (Fluttershy's clean-to-most-but-not-for-her photos for example. The description of how she felt when taking them is very close to experience I've had).

Though, I don't usually read fanfics to reflect on myself. I read them to smile/laugh. I got a good bit of that from this one too. I don't LOVE the fic, but I certainly wouldn't mind rereading it now and then. Quite nice.

    26. And with this fic, Pedoshy is born.

    27. That was the best way I think someone could've mocked shippers. I loved it. Good job author :D

    29. I've got to say... wouldn't this image work better than the Gilda one:

    30. As a -I guess- shipper (but not a serious one - could you imagine people actually believing ponyships?), this is possibily the most hilarious thing I've read all day (pervert Fluttershy is always funny), and the satire was spot on.

That ending made me shoot Coke out my nose... thanks for that.

    31. Ouch. That was painful. I'm only giving it two stars because it wasn't riddled with spelling errors.
