Hello everyone! See below the final gallery for Newbie Artist Training Grounds XV!!!! This month has been an absolute joy, and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing every single piece of art that has been submitted this year! Thank you all again for participating! I hope you all had fun!! Please feel free to comment below what you all thought about the 15 prompt layout this year as well as other thoughts you may have had about this years event.
This year we managed to get 612 entries for prompts 1-15 this year!!! That is an absolutely amazing number and I am so happy that so many pieces of art were created this year! I hope everyone continues to create and have fun honing their craft moving forward. While NATG may be over, if you have an itch to continue to create, feel free to head over to the Equestria Daily discord where NATG-Alumni, a weekly drawing prompt event, will be held! For Day 7th: a pony drawing Anthropia Colts fanart. Y'know, Anthropia Colts, tech savvy fantasy humans doing equine things. Those tiny hooves must be some magical for them to be strong enough to allow colts to gallop without collapsing.
Honestly, I want a one-bristle brush... Here are all the prompts: a pony standing, a pony putting on a brave face, a pony doing their favorite hobby, a pony who is over the moon, a pony learning a new skill, a pony who is dressed to kill, a pony trying something new, a pony hitting the road, and a pony who just hit the jackpot.
In the prehistoric times, before names, before language, the Firstborn chose that Her ponies know themselves, and let the other things come later.
"'The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.'" (Matt. 13:44 NIV). The treasure described in the parable above is of far greater value than any buried gold or choice pearls, however. This treasure is that of eternal life and freedom from the eternal punishment due us for our sin. Wait, what punishment? It all started in the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve rebelled against God, and so all of human kind was doomed to hell for our their sin and our sins that we continually commit like rejection of God. God is just, and He is also merciful, sending His Son Jesus to die for our sins on the cross 2,000 years ago. Jesus rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God in heaven, and all who believe in Him and repent of their sins to follow Jesus will one day rise again and enter heaven too. You know what's rare? It's a red pony! There's like Big MacIntosh and that's it. Finished. No red mares to be seen anywhere, and I mean with red bodies, not manes, and I don't mean temporarily red mares due to anger, spicy food and what the like. "Draw a red bodied mare!" should totally be a prompt. So this is for the day one prompt, a standing pony, in red, for Canada Day, which is today. Elbows up! 8^D
After following of episodes Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3, Starlight Glimmer was told by Rainbow Dash their stories in long ago when she was young adult after she drew tall pony out of Twilight Sparkle during practice study for Wonderbolt test. Now, Starlight Glimmer had an ideas to mock Twilight to inspire Rainbow Dash's drawings on book by making long stretch Twilight Sparkle. After Starlight finished their paintings, she decided to place it at the Friendship Museum before Twilight reached, and warn Starlight to take it down. But, Starlight does not care, Celestia and Luna is already laughed at long stretch Princess Twilight Sparkle.
For Rainbow Dash, after all the battles and world saving, I feel like her best life wouldn't be a grand adventure, but a quiet, peaceful moment of well deserved rest. The pendant around her neck was a gift from her special somepony, and it's something she treasures and keeps close, even in her sleep. ??

What is the Artist Training Ground?
The Artist Training Ground is a month long event in which individuals challenge themselves to draw a pony every other day for a full month with the goal to teach you how to draw ponies.
Each other day there will be a gallery of submissions where you all can compliment, critique, and otherwise bond over yalls amazing growth as artists.
Each other day we will release a pair of prompts (One basic, One complex) and you will have 48 hours to complete and upload said prompt to the compiler for submission.

What can I submit?
You can submit the following:
- Any Pony from OC to Canon
- Any Race from MLP (Donky, Zebra, Griffon, Dragon, Etc.)
- 3D Art
- Traditional Art
- Equestria Girls
- Anthro

Tutorial For Submitting to Our Compiler - Computer
A tutorial for grabbing the URL of an image can be found below.
If you can't use our compiler for whatever reason, either you can't use an online hosting site or our compiler is blocked in your country, please send your submissions to [email protected] for inclusion into the gallery.
In Firefox select "Copy Image Location" after uploading your image then right clicking on it:
In Chrome select "Copy Image Address" after uploading the image then right clicking on it:
This will give you a direct URL. It must end in ".png" or ".jpg". Example for what it will look like:
Paste your URL Here:
Once you have the image uploaded to Twitter, DeviantArt, or wherever try this: Touch and hold the image. Depending on what browser you’re using, select the image URL by tapping the links below:
Chrome: Copy link address
Safari: Copy
If that doesn't work, you can Touch and Hold an image, open it in a new tab and the URL of that tab should be what you're looking for.
Use that URL in the compiler for your image. Hopefully that works!
