Even when friendships come and go there is always family there to back you up when you most need it, at least in the most ideal circumstances. With our ponies that is no exception and we've managed to gather quite a few pony families tonight as a result!
In fact we've gathered another 116 ponies bringing us up to 2122 ponies in total. Nice job everyone!
So for our next prompt I though we'd stretch ourselves beyond Equestria a bit and do some exploring! And not just a place in Equestria but way beyond it because for today I'd like you to Draw a pony in space / Draw a pony exploring the final frontier.

Well, it's my first "non summer break", so right now I'm missing playing games with my cousins.

Smooth Jazz couldn't help but smile warmly at his new daughter. "Yeah, she looks just like you, hon." He nuzzled his wife lovingly. "But what are we going to name her?"
The little one's mom thought to herself. "Hmm....I was thinking maybe Ebony, after my mom. What do you think, love?"
Smooth put a hoof to his chin in thought. "Well, I was thinking of naming her Crystal after MINE, but you know what, I've got an idea! Why don't we just put the two together and let her have both their names."
His wife giggled, seeing the little one smiling at them, hearing her coo happily. "I think she likes it. Ebony Crystal it is."

Windcatcher took Software Patch up to the cloud cities to help her babysit her niece, Nimbus. (Patch found someone to put a cloud-walking enchantment on his rig and he's not taking it off.) Nimbus really looks up to her Auntie Windy and is fascinated by her parachuting antics. She wants to try it herself, real bad. So when Patch and Windy were distracted, she tied Windy's pack around herself real tight, waddled to the edge of the cloud, and jumped. Patch just *knows* that if anything happens to Nimbus, her family is going to turn him into a stain. He jumped after the falling filly without a second thought.
