Basic Fun is the company behind all those stress ball style Mash Mallow ponies, along with Fash'em's and Stack'ems. They They bring those, along with the Anniversary retro pony collection to show off at this year's Toy Fair 2018.

In addition to making their products to fill toy shelves, Hasbro also licenses out their intellectual properties to other toy manufacturers to help spread brand awareness as far as reasonably possible.
Usually these are for specific products that Hasbro can't justify the financial risk to make themselves, but are more than happy to let another company put in the investment to manufacture. I'm immediately thinking of the Funko Molded MLP line from a few years back as such a great example of this.
