    We haven't had one of these posts in awhile, so expect an insane a amount of fallout this time around. Writers from all over the fandom have been plugging away at the fic these past few months.

    Fallout: Equestria is a big, expansive and inclusive universe that has spawned a whole plethora of side-stories, the newest and freshly updated editions of which are listed below.
    This post only features New or Updated stories from Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 through Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 for a total of 124 stories (53 of which are new) and 348 new chapters - but fear not, should you be searching for old favourites, you can find them at:

His programming tells him he's to serve his masters....but other times he thinks about himself, and the world around him. But what makes him different is also what makes him loved; especially by his family. They love him so much that they see him as a member of the family; which he is very happy with.

    Garcon doesn't think that he'll do anything over than serve his masters for the rest of their lives.

    Until one day...the day when one story ended and another began. The day when Megaspells rained from the sky, and ponies ran for the safety of the Stables.

    Now, Garcon finds himself awoken after 180 years of being offline. But with the world he once knew now gone, Garcon finds himself with a new directive. With knowledge that his family is still alive, he begins a journey to search the wasteland and find them.

    But there are many dangerous ponies in the wasteland....and one has now set his eyes on Garcon.

    Description: Alternate Title: The Crystal Dominion.

    After 200 years, and only a year after the Neighvarro incident, the pre-war nation, the Crystal Empire makes its stunning return, bringing with it new hope for the Equestrian Wasteland. With the NCR entering its earliest stages of development, territory wars break out, treaties are made, and factions are forced to work together to make the ensuing peace last.

    Only not everything is as it seems, strange creatures have started appearing, and a threat from the east and west marks the coming of an endless storm. The horrors of the wasteland never die, and the return of this Crystal Dominion has fractured a balance set in place since the end of the Enclave. This crystal super-power will spark the embers of a new great war, with the New Canterlot Republic trapped in its shadow.

    History will be re-written, the true horrors of the Wasteland will make their mark, and an Empire shall live again. There is a storm is coming.

    Any similarity to other Fo:E fics containing the Crystal Empire are purely coincidental. I do however give credit to the authors of those stories, who added onto the lore for inspiration in shaping my own version of the Crystal Empire.

He takes on every day tasks on keeping his patients on top form each and every day. The only problem is that things have been different lately and Dip cannot put his hoof on exactly what.
    In this horrific tale of lies and deception cast in a bloody landscape, Dr. Dip is paired with an insane and fire loving maniac as they find out what their "trusted" Stable is actually hiding from them deep within the Stable walls.
    Curiosity kills.

    Description: Flash- a pegasus pony with no memory of herself, her past, or even what happened suddenly finds herself thrown into the middle of the Equestrian WasteLand. Almost immediately she finds herself in one big heap of trouble, and continues to fall farther and farther into the darkness of her new home. As she struggles to survive in her new environment, she runs into people she never thought she would- namely, a trigger happy mercenary who she somehow managed to owe a hefty debt to, and has to work to repay it. She finds herself in his unwanted company, and the company of others the two meet along the way.

    Whilst searching for who she really is, and her own past- she begins to think she may not like what she finds about who she used to be, what she used to do- and starts wondering if she wants to be the pony she used to be at all. Wrapped up in her own searching, there are several ancient powers beginning to fester in the Land, several creatures and nearly forgotten histories of the Old World that have never reared their heads until recently- things nopony even dreamed.

    For some reason- everything seems to revolve around Flash, her lost memory- the memories that could save the WasteLand from being destroyed in the magical fire of one of Equestria's greatest enemies, that has slept for centuries now. An ancient evil that threatens the lives of everypony she knows, and maybe even the ones she knew (or at least, thought she knew..)- and she's the only one that has a chance of figuring out how to stop darkness from falling. Lucky her, huh?

    Description: 20 years after the Day of Sunshine and Rainbows, the NCR is slowly expanding over the remains of Equestria. With the Elements of Harmony at their beckon-call, They remain one of the most protected, and civilized areas in the wasteland.

    However, despite of this, new threats still emerge. An alicorn has created a new army in the name of the Goddess in order to create her own civilization, but under an iron hoof of slavery and oppression.

    Now, Calamity Hooves, a pony from a humble village, must venture forth, and help stop the alicorn's threat, or Equestria will be destroyed once again.

Unfortunately when Fast Times wakes up next things will be very different...

Now she, along with a single drone, has to make her way across the remains of Equestria in order to reunite with infiltrator groups scattered across the continent outside the reaches of the hive-mind.
    What terrors and troubles could she encounter along the way?

    Description: Set 20 years after the events of Fallout: Equestria, where Littlepip's plan did not turn out as expected, the Equestrian Wasteland is definitely not a nice place to live, not anymore. It is a dog eat dog ruin, scorched by dust and RAD storms, where tribals, cannibals and survivalists battle it out for their very lives against the hostile wasteland (and each other), Gardens of Equestria is all but spent, old bastions of civilization are now nothing more than ruins infected with the same dust storms that plague the rest of the wasteland, and the NCR's remaining outposts in the region are shooting just about everyone on sight. But instead of someone like the Stable Dweller, the only remaining ponies still sane are nothing more than survivors lucky to be alive. All they can do now is try and find a way out, alive...if they can.

    This story was inspired the Fallout New Vegas mod Fallout: Dust.

So it might come to a surprise to learn there is a Stable located here, very few knew of it’s existence until the Outcast and the Forgotten Knights made themselves known to the Equestrian wasteland.

    Before that, the Stable laid there buried under the snow with only two living inhabitants both in cryogenic sleep. These two are about to play a major role in the future of the ponies in the Equestrian wastes

    Description: Seventy-five years ago, Equestria fell from the mega spells, and that's something every pony knew. Trying to live now in this new world to many would be a terrifying experience, one that I didn't know till recently. My name is Dead Hooves, and I've never known anyplace but my home my entire life. I could never leave, being paralyzed since birth, but that didn't stop destiny from playing with me. In recent years, a murderer known as the Bloody Angel has appeared in the wastelands, and with no idea what they look like, I got caught up in the mix.
    Somepony used that to make me look like the murderer, even though I never could be, and turned me into a public enemy. With the only destination in mind being Manehattan, I need to find a way to clear my name, but when the entire Wasteland wants you dead for being a pony I'm not that's a hard thing to do. Why, though, what happened in the past that caused me to be a target?

    War may never change, but Destiny does, and it is as unpredictable as it seems.

    LUNAR BAY [New]

    Description: The settlement of Lunar Bay sits on a small section of the Equestrian coastline, with ponies living in peace with one another.

    This settlement is the home of Fish Hook; a seawise earth pony that runs the local bait shop with his family. He is happy living in Lunar Bay, and thinks that the peace they have is achieved through the friendship that everyone shares with each other. But soon, that peace becomes threatened.

    When a pony is found murdered on a local fishing boat, Fish Hook’s father is accused of the crime.

    Fearing the fate of his father, Fish Hook makes it his goal to find the clues and track down the real murderer. Armed with only a simple gun and spear, he searches in and around Lunar Bay in hopes of finding the truth.

    But his journey of discovery soon leads him to the deepest, darkest parts of Lunar Bay. Now he must face rivaling groups, secret societies, and even those that he once thought were his friends.

    Stable 17 was built within the region of Transylvania in northwestern equestria, safely situated between the base of Smokey Mountain and Vanhoover. The primary focus of the stable was to protect the native Thestral ponies who resided in the area in the event of a catastrophic war. These ponies -- commonly known as "Batponies" by the other races of Equestria -- sported fangs and leathery wings.

    Transylvania, with its economy driven mainly by the farming of it's residents, saw little to no action in the war, and was blissfully left out of the rain of balefire bombs that consumed Equestria.

    Midnight, at least that's what they call me. I grew up within the confines of Stable 17 where I was certain I would live peacefully, and die peacefully. I was to be yet another participant in the endless cycle that made up life in Stable 17, call it boring, but it was home.

    When the current Overmare began a crazy attempt to keep her power, I was forced out of the stable, finding myself stuck out in the open world of the Equestrian wasteland. With no supplies, friends, or knowledge of the wasteland before me, I found myself facing a life that was sure to end quickly. As if that wasn't enough, another pony was kicked out with me; none other than Scarlet Rose, the Overmare's own sister.

    Soon after leaving the Stable, I learned of a land far from Equestria, perhaps not even of this same world. A mystical being by the name of Ignis revealed himself to me and informed me of my destiny. Cliche, am I right? Well, as soon as that all began, I learned of something sinister lurking between worlds, something that only I could prevent.

    Night by night, secrets tucked away within the forested overgrowth of Transylvania's lands began to become ever present, every step that Scarlet and I took seemed to wake dormant beings. Ancient legends - regarded as simple tales - quickly became a reality. Scarlet and I not only had to overcome our differences, but together we were tasked to protect the sovereignty of Transylvania, the very existence of our dying Thestral race.

    Honestly, I don't know what that really means. I'm only trying to survive in this blasted Wasteland. The only reason I haven't given this damn diary to the ponies looking for it is because they'd probably vaporise me afterwards.

    So now I'm stuck with dealing with a problem that the universe thinks me, Lucky Shoes, is the only pony who can fix. I'm... just not sure exactly what the problem is, and this diary isn't exactly forthcoming with details.

But you didn’t come here for a history lesson about some trivial things that wiped out your ancestors.

    My names Scattered Hope, but you can call me Sixes. I got my nickname from my love of revolvers and my knack to carry everything I have in multiples of six. Ya it causes problems when I go out looting but I don’t do that much. You see I’m a Mercenary I belong to a group called The Forgotten Eden, and we go around taking jobs and doing what we’re paid to do. But before you ask yourself “does that include killing innocents and the more inappropriate things in the waste land?” For one we aren’t raiders as I’ve stated already we’re Mercs, and we at least have morals. Second, sense when in the wasteland is anypony innocent?

He was completely clueless about the surface, and had stumbled into a raider ambush that the other two had stumbled across at the same time. The three teamed up, and survived. Comet decided he would be safer with them.

    This story chronicles the daily struggles of these three friends. As much as war never changes, friendship is always in flux. Maybe their day-to-day lives will have more of an impact than anyone could ever guess.

    However, all good things must come to an end. The remnants of the Steel Rangers learned of Stable 13's location and sent a massive raiding party. The Dwellers, hardened from their time in the wasteland and with superior numbers proved a far greater challenge to the Rangers then anticipated but they were eventually beaten back into their very home by the invader's excessive firepower. In desperation, Overmare Nebula Skater released us from our slumber:

    When the war came to it's end, the destruction of Equestria was overwhelming. Entire cities were wiped off the map in but a flash, the once beautiful lands became poisoned and twisted. However, life still went on, only with a new war to fight. An unending war for survival against the wasteland itself took over. And war? War never changed.

    Amidst the worst hit during the apocalypse, the Islands of Marewaii were left as shadows of their former selves. Being the center port for Equestrias naval campaign, when the bombs flew, the Islands were a priority target for the Zebras. Megaspells of Balefire bombarded the big island, and the magical fallout that followed covered each of the others. The magical destruction was so great that the air itself became poisoned, a poison that persisted for over two hundred years.

    But like with the rest of Equestria, life continued to go in. Deep under the cities during the way, a vast metro system had been made. It was constructed both for transportation, and for emergency shelter in case the war ended in a balefire rain. Tens of thousands of ponies had fled underground, unsure if they would even survive the end of the world at all. Many closer to the surface didn't, but the ones that did went on to rebuild society in their new underground home.

    Over two hundred years later, our story picks up. A mirage pony mare named Vibraphone Echo, received a message about a job. This "search and rescue" job will pay a years worth of bits as payment. A simple job, one that gave her a bad feeling, but worth too many bits to pass up.

    They say that war never changes, but ponies do through the paths they chose to walk.

    Decades of wartime mining and ore refinery polluting the air with toxic hallucinogenic chemicals and smog, here the smog blots out what little sun the wasteland has. There is no light in the highlands, the rolling hills are shrouded in the all encompassing pitch black.

    Batteries and flashlights are as sought after as clean water and food. To ward off the dark is a symbol of wealth and power.

    Because behind fog, in the darkness. Anything can roam. And whether what roams in the dark is a reality, or your own mind betraying you is entirely up to chance.

    It is in those papers that star cursed Starkatteri filly Pythia discovers an ominous letter written by the Caesar on the Day of Doom, his last order: 'Blind the Eye of the World'. Pythia knows the only way to learn what that means is to go there herself. She ropes in Scotch Tape and Majina (Because what are they going to do besides sulk and mope?) and makes arrangements to reach the land of Equestria's enemy. Along the way, the half dragon half pony filly Precious demands to come with them. And you don't say no to anything dragony.

    Together, they'll travel to a far away land that was also terribly savaged by the war, who's pain and suffering have yet to be known. Together, they'll find out what the zebra Caesar set into motion with his final command. And only together will they be able to save the Homelands.

    (Author's note: While helpful to read Horizons, most of the characters and events in Homelands do not require it. There may occasionally be references to Horizons and the original Fallout, but a new reader should be okay.

A Wastelander that had long since hardened himself to the horrors of the Wasteland, the ice in his heart threatens to melt as friends are made, loves are lost, and the Wasteland and Stars yield their most darkest of secrets.


    NOTE 1: Only the original Fallout: Equestria is considered canon officially. I will however do my level best to not cross over with other large fics such as Projects Horizon or Pink Eyes. While I will not mention such events in my story, I will do my best not to negate them so readers may consider whatever they wish to be canon from other works. (This is not set in stone, and if I am faced with a situation where I must disregard the interpretations of PH or PE to further my story, I shall without qualm or hesitation, but I do not think such a scenario is likely. I have planned this story out heavily, and do not believe any of it will conflict with such stories.)

    NOTE 2: Tome Tale is an Earth Pony in the Wasteland. Too many stories are unicorns from stables, or other things like that. I wanted to write this story different from other ones. Tome Tale grew up in the Wasteland, he has already become hardened. Too often we are faced with an innocent character fighting the corruption of the Wasteland both internally and externally, and such story lines are very well written and received, but they ARE overused. Tome Tale is not such a story. His is a story not of fighting corruption in himself, but of redemption that can never be found. A heart which is cold, becoming warm again, and a pony such as him, learning what it means to be alive.

    This is the story of that little bird, a story of his struggle after he set out on his adventure, after all it was that little blue birds wish to go on an adventure, but that's the thing, sometimes it's better for wishes not to come true. Watch as he learns what it truly means to be free in the frozen waste land of The Crystal Empire, as he unfolds the layers of snow and time that bury this lands secret's, stories of the past and present collide to shape the future of not only him but the very ground he once flew over. As for the black crow, well that you'll just have to find out for yourself. There are destroyers and creators, they are the villains and the hero's, and right now the last thing the waste land needs is a two bit hero that changes nothing after their gone.

Both of us wonder what will happen to us now, where our place in this world is, and if what we did during the war was really the right thing...
