• Equestria Daily Mobile App - v1.3 / 1.3.1 Update

    And the march of progress continues! A few weeks ago version 1.3 of the app was released and brought with it a bunch of new features, improved support for tablets and many bugfixes. Even more recently version 1.3.1 was released for Android and is currently being rolled out for iOS. Aside from bringing a few bugfixes 1.3.1 also added the ability to save a list of your favorite EQD posts on your device!

    • Added Favorites screen to save your favorite Equestria Daily posts
    • Added a Fullscreen mode for iPad to the Post, Comment and Info screens.
    • Added the ability to swipe between the Post, Comment and Info screens

    • New interface for iPad version
    • App now automatically loads more posts during scrolling. This behaviour can be disabled in the Options screen.

    Android

    • Added Favorites screen to save your favorite Equestria Daily posts
    • Added the option to view embedded Youtube and HTML5 video's in the post screen (Results and stability may vary per device)
    • Fixed crashes on Samsung devices with Android 4.2.2 when opening the extras menu
    • Loading thumbnails in the widget should now be less straining on device memory. The widget will also auto-disable thumbnails when not enough memory is available.
    • Other minor bugfixes
