There wasn't a whole lot revealed about it, but at the NYCC IDW panel, the next series title was revealed to be "Friends Forever". The exact quote:
"An audience member asked, what is the future of My Little Pony comics? Ryall said the series was doing fantastically, selling over a million copies, and that there would be a second ongoing series called Friends Forever."
Whether they mean second as in the second main series or another side one to replace the micro comics remains to be seen. The quote is a little vague on the details. I guess only time will tell! Thanks to Masem and James for the heads up.
