Wow, that trailer is pretty badass. This show sure has evolved from the pink that was probably expected of it!
The marathon apparently happens on the 22nd of January at 5:00 AM Pacific. That's a bit too early for me, but at least Spike is getting some love!

The VA for the advert sounded pretty good, maybe they got the show VA to do it.

Actually I'm not really fussed, the current system is 99% good for me. The only thing I miss is the ability to add an email subscription for comments without having to actually make a post. That email subscription link was part of the comments box.

Nice ads. Gave me a real Jackie Chan Adventures and Samurai Jack vibe (yes, I'm aware those are two totally different cultures, but the artwork was similar enough that I thought of Aku).
ReplyDeleteAnd I can see them choosing Dragonshy, despite it not necessarily being focused on Spike. It still focuses on a dragon, which is the overall theme of the reasoning of the Spike-a-thon to begin with, so it gets a pass for me.

ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't surprise me. The station airs content for all ages, including classic sitcoms at night, which is how I first discovered the Hub.
The promo itself was pretty cool. Very reminiscent of the stuff Kids' WB used to do (like the Jingle Bells thing).
