Hmm... Pairing my comics with #1 makes them seem a lot more suggestive than they would be otherwise...

ReplyDelete#2 I can always count on this artist for great multi-part comics. It's much more satisfying to watch a story unfold a bit at a time, as opposed to having it end in one part. This was a fun little series and I applaud it.
It's the suggested sauciness edition, I see.

I can't really blame Celestia for the second one though. Flustered Twilight is a cute enough result to justify any teasing/trolling.

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the magic lessons. That's honestly a plotline I'd love to see on the show proper. Why wouldn't all those young unicorns in Ponyville want to learn from Twilight, especially after the thing with the Ursa Minor?

1. That's...um...darn it, people, both Spike and Apple Bloom are still children...I'm uncomfortable with suggestive jokes involving them. The art style was rather nice though.
ReplyDelete2. I remember reading this a while ago, so it's good it finally popped onto EQ Daily. The author specified in DeviantArt comments that it was intended as Celestia joking with Twilight, not actually hitting on her or anything. Pranks, basically. It's funny too. As Harwick said, flustered Twilight is too cute.

ReplyDeleteYes, it could have been a lot clearer and easier to understand, I know that and thank you for pointing it out so I can improve. I just got tired of the PSD-file and wanted to finish it. I'm gonna do a remake of it someday when I have time, which will be, summer or something.
And I don't see them as small children. Spike is way too intelligent to be considered a baby, and all the cutiemark business... reminds me a bit too much of puberty xD So when I ship them in other than innocent puppylove (which is what I prefer but my brain wants other stuff on the paper), it's because I see them as young teens.
#2 - Why is it so fun to mess with people's brains! XD That is just amazing

ReplyDelete#1 - Awesome comic. Hilarious. I see Spike has his eyes on quite an applelicious treat, there. Too bad Twi and AJ were onto it quicker'n shit, though. Best to give them a head's up on what to expect BEFORE she gets pregnant.
ReplyDelete#2 - Seriously, this is pretty much blatant by now. Celestia x Twilight is damn near canon with how much they think of each other and how they interact. I wouldn't be surprised if all of these friendship reports and Twi's studies in Ponyville were dropped on her by Tia to get Twi ready for Tia's love confession on down the road. I certainly have the feeling Twi wouldn't say no, in any case.
Oh, and good comic, on #2.

ReplyDeleteTo avoid going off on a rant about #1, I'm just going to agree with Kyronea about both comics.
I suppose it could be argued that they're older in the comic (the art doesn't really make them look older, but it doesn't rule it out completely either), but in the show itself Spike and the CMC are clearly prepubescent. So, um, yeah.

Fur doesn't leave a mark like flesh. That pic only works if he had something on his hand that rubbed off on Applebloom.
